They advertise as having a pool, but it’s at a different location and you have to pay $5USD per person. Pillows were very uncomfortable. Otherwise, the location is great and the food was good at their restaurant!

Couldn’t spend the night due to humidity smell
The humidity smell was unbearable, without any window in the room to air it out. I actually left the non-refundable room after an hour, had to book a 2nd room in another hotel. Additionally, there were dog paws all over the room, which even if it’s a pet friendly hotel, one would expect to have the room cleaned in between guests..

There is no parking at the property, they offer for a fee their parking lot which is about 20 minutes away, it would be good to have at least 1 parking in front of the hotel for loading and unloading baggage, tv's are old, hard to turn them on, they have a radio along the hotel and they put it really loud until about 10 - 11 it makes it impossible to rest during the afternoon, a lot of noise from the kitchen, the rooms were clean, good beds and bedding.

Very nice but the bathroom needs a little help.
The staff are very nice. We were on the first floor right outside the front desk an the music was a little loud from the restaurant. We were extremely tired and went to bed early. I asked the front desk if they could turn the music down and he very nice and said yes. It went completely off at 10pm. We had 2 double beds and a single. The single was super comfy but the doubles were much firmer but the room was great and we felt very at home and comfortable. It would be nice if there was somewhere to put your clothes or hang towels in the bathroom other than on the toilet or sink. The bathroom felt very cramped because there is no place to put your stuff, clothes or towels.

To much noise! People talking loud in the stairs/hall way very early! When I ask at the front desk they said their policy of noise it’s from 6am to 10pm but there where people talking loud even after 10pm or before 6am! I stay 4 nights and the 4 nights were always people talking loud. The beds are sooooo hard! Is like sleeping on the floors! Pillowed were good, showers are very very small. The place is in good location.

Great find
I found this hotel to be very quaint, clean, and all the staff was very friendly. The location was central to all the sightseeing and many local restaurants and shopping. Unlike other reviews I did not have any issues with noise. Yes it is a city but the noise did not prevent sleeping. Highly recommend. Muchas gracias Alicia y Christian en el restaurante!!!

Rooms are simple but nice enough. Our room was right next to the lobby and bar/restaurant, which could have been an issue if we wanted to be asleep before closing hours. The bar has a nice spread of food and drinks for good prices. Located in a good part of town, short walk to the central park and El Arco and close to other nice bars and restaurants. Clean bathrooms with good water pressure and consistent hot water which is not always the case in Guatemala. Fresh towels daily. Pool and kitchen are not on site but across the street at their sister hotel.

There are better ones accross this property
Cons: The room is a lot smaller than was shown on the photo, the room is almost the size of the bed really, we barely had space to move around. I think hotels.com should change the photo. The window opens to the corridor so whenever we open it, people can see us from outside but if we close it, the room is stuffy. The bathroom is so small, we can barely close the door. The room is definitely a single room, not for couples. There is no kitchen available too but the property opposite is from the same company as casa colibri too so we ended up using their kitchen. We decided to move to that opposite property with much bigger room for better price. The receptionist also couldn’t speak English, even a little bit, so even if I know some Spanish.. we had a difficult time understanding each other. Pros: Location is good and the room is cleaned everyday.

Great Hotel
We were very pleased with this hotel. Staff were friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and had a lockable drawer for your valuables. The local area was full of bars and restaurants and in the middle of the old town.

Convenient location and close to everything. A bit noisy though at busy weekend nights because of a pub in front of the hotel with loud live music

It is a nice hotel in the center of Antigua, one block from the park and near the local market and most of the restaurants and shops. It was a bit noisy since we stayed in the first room, next to the restaurant. The hotel is inside the complex and it has a restaurant at the entrance, so you have to go through the small restaurant to access the rooms. No parking on-site for a vehicle. We had to pay extra for that. But a nice little hotel for spending a night or two. Very clean and the staff was very friendly.

WAY over priced for this dive!
This place is so WAY overpriced. Our room was such a dive. We booked a family room for the four of us. We ended up getting a room on the main floor next to the reception. The only window opened into the reception area, and since that was awkward, it might as well not have had a window. There was no circulation. The room was HOT, sticky and terribly uncomfortable. The bathroom is tiny and the shower is tinier. There was no shampoo and not even any place to set the shampoo in the shower. We had to ask for enough towels for all of us as they only supplied three. But.... this is the craziest part. When we left, they actually went into our room to count the number of towels and pillows and to inspect our room for damage. Huh? It was the weirdest thing. My family and I have traveled to SO many countries and never felt so darn awkward. Not sure who their clientele normally is, but this was definitely a strange vibe. Ok, now for the good parts... the location is central and the staff were nice enough, even keeping our bag for us during the afternoon since we weren't leaving until several hours after checkout. Finally, despite having a photo of a pool in their photos, they do not have a pool. But due to an arrangement with another hotel, my boys were able to swim at the other hotel. For an additional fee, of course.

Would Stay Again
It was neat little hotel and the employees were all very nice and helpful. There is a small restaurant at the entrance. We ate lunch there one day and the tacos were very good. The only downside that I had was that the door to my room opened up to the bar upstairs... like if I took two steps out my door I could order a drink. There were never people at the bar upstairs and only a couple times were there people in the dining area next to the bar so it wasn't too bad. However, if the bar was full it would be either really great or really annoying depending on your point of view. Other than that, it was clean, safe and had a great location. I would stay again.

I stayed in a room with a private bathroom.Great price and great room, is close to a lot of important places that you should visit, the staff was really kind and helped me with everything. The bed was really confortable, was really quiet at nights and an Amazing view Everything was clean and they have daily housekeeping. Downstairs you can find a nice restaurant(is not part of the hotel) Or you can just walk and find new places everyday, Was really happy during my stay in this hotel

Great place to stay in quieter part of town
Short walk to the center part of town, but off the beaten path and therefore quiet. My room did not have a bathroom but I was ok with that. The shared showers could be a little more comfortable but generally fine. Their rooftop patio is gorgeous and very comfy for breakfast etc Nice breakfast! Nice staff!!
