This place is so WAY overpriced. Our room was such a dive. We booked a family room for the four of us. We ended up getting a room on the main floor next to the reception. The only window opened into the reception area, and since that was awkward, it might as well not have had a window. There was no circulation. The room was HOT, sticky and terribly uncomfortable. The bathroom is tiny and the shower is tinier. There was no shampoo and not even any place to set the shampoo in the shower. We had to ask for enough towels for all of us as they only supplied three.
But.... this is the craziest part. When we left, they actually went into our room to count the number of towels and pillows and to inspect our room for damage. Huh? It was the weirdest thing. My family and I have traveled to SO many countries and never felt so darn awkward. Not sure who their clientele normally is, but this was definitely a strange vibe.
Ok, now for the good parts... the location is central and the staff were nice enough, even keeping our bag for us during the afternoon since we weren't leaving until several hours after checkout.
Finally, despite having a photo of a pool in their photos, they do not have a pool. But due to an arrangement with another hotel, my boys were able to swim at the other hotel. For an additional fee, of course.
