Not glamours but decent for the price
The hotel check in is a half a block away, which is initially confusing. Downstairs from the hotel is an Italian restaurant which is pretty decent. Makes the hall smell good. The room and bathroom smelt a little like cigarettes. The room is decent and simple. Has a tv, WiFi, desk, dresser and beds. The bathroom is tiny and not very modern, not spotless but decent for the price. Bathroom is outside of the room in the hall but private one shower and toilet in each.

Standard, but satisfied: still alive :)
Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel. It was an average hotel and the rooms had the basics: comfy bed, table and chair, tv and towels were provided. Although my room didn’t include an ensuite, the shared bathrooms were kept tidy and were available most of the time. Wi-Fi was superb. Checking-in is only easy if you can speak German as either of the staff did not speak English, which does not come to a surprise with it being in Germany of course. However, because of the language barrier it made checking-in a slower process. As for checking-out, it was easy. It seemed like you could just leave the keys on the desk. Personally, I was leaving at 5am for my flight home so I left a note with the basic German I know. Also, the staff aren’t immediately at the desk at all hours of the day so don’t be as confused as I was. There is a bell to ring to catch their attention. The restaurant that shares the building with the hotel is not anything special but if you’re pushed for choices it will do. The location of the hotel is a slight problem as it is about a 30-40 minute walk from the centre of Eschweiler but for the fair pricing it is expected. I did manage to find a Lidl, McDonalds and mini shopping complex relatively close to the hotel however. This hotel is average but it is clean, safe and you can’t go wrong for the price. If you are travelling on a budget and aren’t bothered about luxuries then this place is for you.

Awful
Unwelcoming. Not pet friendly or any free parking available which it states it provides both on it’s amenities via Expedia. Staff were boarder line hostile. So bad that upon arrival and looking at the room/attitude of the staff working there we did not even stay. Complete waste of money. Surprised it is even on Expedia.

Besuch bei Oma
Es riecht neutral und es ist sauber, die Ausstattung erinnert an einen Besuch bei der Oma früher, man fühlt sich einige Jahre zurück versetzt. Die Böden sind schief aber das Bett ist sehr bequem, Toilette und Dusche funktionieren. :-)

Nur wenn man muss
Ich musste erst mals in einem anderen hotel einchecken und habe die Schlüssel bekommen. Als ich im Hotel dann zurück war wussten die nicht einmal welches Zimmer es war also musste ich zurück zum anderen Hotel und fragen. Das Zimmer war sauber hatte aber nur eine Steckdose an der der Fernseher eingeschlassen war. Die Gemeinschaftstoilette war in einem schlechten Zustand

Ich werde diese Unterkunft nicht weiter empfehlen. Es war dreckig und die Innentür war kaputt Der TV ging nicht. Die Matratze vom Bett war gelb und das Handtuch war feucht. Spinnen und kleine krabbeltiere waren auf der Tagesordnung. Gemeintschafts Bad wurde nicht täglich sauber gemacht war dreckig und schmutzig. Auf Nachfrage das ich ein Parkplatz dort habe wurde gesagt ja reichlich sind viele da aber als ich dort parken wollte war gar nichts frei. Sehr schlechter Service.
