We really liked the location of the hotel is really convenient, Myeongdong station is just 5 mins walk away, and the night street is just round the corner. The room was clean with necessary amenities.

Creto Myeong Dong ticked all the boxes for me. Simple no fuss hotel. Right location, nice hotel and friendly staff. It was probably the holiday season and it felt like the were tad understaffed. If they could improve on the room cleaning, it would really be PERFECT and all 5 stars for me.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although it can get a little noisy towards the night from the bars across the street playing music out loud. So the water piping would creak and make noise whenever another guest room would run their water so that was a little bit unpleasant. Aside from that, hotel Creto was very nice and extremely conveniently located near the subway station, restaurants and myeongdong shopping street.

The owners/reception was very helpful, they all speak very good english, a lot better than the other hotels we stayed (Gimpo, Busan Jeju). We asked for directions/advise every time we're not sure, they're always very accomodating. We love the fact that we can always order breakfast the night before and it's ready the next morning at our prefered time, hence we don't need to walk far to get our coffee. Very very happy with this hotel, especially the staff. Highly recommended. We will stay there again if/when we go back to Korea.

It’s only conveniently located.
We were there for 9 nights and slept on the same bedsheet and wore the same bathroom slipper. Both sheet and bathroom slippers were so dusty and filthy. We threw a torn pair into the bin but they still did not replace. Basin is stained, vanity kit & shower cap not replenished.

Pros: Good size room with all the necessary amenities, mattress was comfy so we slept very well, opposite of a good coffee place (Leesar Coffee) and 711 and best of all we got a good deal as we booked in advance. Wonderful and helpful staff. There was a smell on the 8th floor during our entire stay. My son and I stayed on the 8th floor where my wife and 2 daughters stayed on the 9th floor. They had no smell on their floor. They all noticed a bad smell on the 8th floor and even said it smelled in my room. I guess my son and I got used to the smell. Other than the smell, everything else was great. Very convenient to Myeongdong station and the tourist area.

Value for money in the heart of Myeongdong
Great location, 2-3 mins walk to the airport bus stop and myeongdong station. Lobby and room felt quite new and clean. Staff were quite friendly. Toilet had a bidet and heated seat, good for winter! Room is on the smaller side but functional. There is self service laundromat on the first floor which was easy to use. Not so great is that the bed seem to have some plastic sheet underneath and soundproofing is not good. Overall at this price point, it is a comfortable stay for holiday.

Hotel looks impeccable from the outside. The white/black color scheme really made me interested in booking with this hotel! The room itself was also very nice. It had a big bed and the bathroom had a tub. The only actual thing that irked me was the bathroom in the lobby. It is a handicap accessible bathroom, but the doors were kept open. The smell of the bathroom was overwhelming in the lobby while checking in. Please remind staff to keep those bathroom doors closed, for privacy and cleanliness.
