Preisleistung absolut gegeben. Betten waren bequem, Zimmer ruhig gelegen, nicht ganz Zentral, nöchster Supermarket ist relativ weit weg (15Min< Gehminuten). Rezeption freundlich, Aufenthaltsraum ok, Küche wird jeden Tag geputzt. Bad ok. Leider wenig/keine Steckdosen bei den Betten - powerbank empfehlenswert.

The rooms were clean but cramped. Cheap accommodation, you get what you pay for. The kitchen and dining area is a shared facility, so cleanliness depends a lot on who else is staying in the hostel at the time. Location is good with bars and restaurants in walking distance

The main dorm is above the common area/reception so it’s really noisy. It lack proper curtains and is very hot. The installation of a fan and some proper curtains would improve the experience. Good facilities otherwise

not suitable to sleep people
I could not sleep the whole night due to the flikering light in the room. It was nice to share the bathroom & toilet with other guest. I had to check out earlier due the uncomfortability. The room is so small and they have no blankets.

Pomocna obsługa pomogła nam skontaktować się z następnym hotelem w naszej podróży i zamówiła dogodniejszy transport.Dzięki temu uniknęliśmy sporych kłopotów,gdyż okazało się,że tam recepcja jest obsługiwana tylko do godz.21,a jedyny autobus przyjeżdża o 21.25.Wielkie dzięki. Andrzej J.

Convenient and easy accessible
My stay was great at Lungile though i booked for one night, I relaxed very well as I was driving from Mount Frere to Cape Town. the staff was friendly and the access to the Lodge is very easy. I will definitely book next time I am in PE.

My stay at Lungile lodge was great but was disappointed on my arrival when they told me that I must produce a proof that I have booked with them and the price on line was R252.00 but on my arrival the room was R280.00 which is the amount that I have paid. in the rooms there are no blankets and when asked for one was told to pay R120.00.

Stay at Lungile Lodge
Not impressed with the staff. Very bad service. Especially the person who was at reception. Original room booked was given to other people. Just because they were 4 and we were 2 people. Rooms are in a bad condition. Our toilet door was broken. More like a Back Packers´lodge. Rooms are cold with no comforts. Photo on site has nothing to do with photo of place. Maybe taken 10 years ago. Really not impressed and could´nt wait to book out. Will not refer it to anyone, except back packers. Did not even bother to take a shower, with the fear of maybe finding something else wrong with it. I do not recomend this place

Good staff make all the difference to a good stay!
The room on the first night was musty smelling and like a gaol, four dark walls and a small window with a metal grill. We arrived late so just slept. Next morning we complained as we had booked 3 nights. Staff were good and offered us another room which was much better, brighter with a large window and much larger. John, the manager also gave us a free half day tour of Port Elizabeth which was very informative and we saw everything we wanted to see with a recommendation for fish and chips from a popular establishment which were excellent.
