Old dated hotel and overpriced
Old and dated. Very small room and bathroom. No elevator. Had to climb 2 floor with bad knee. Would stay her again, over priced at $US 85. Last minute reservation. Will not stay here again.

We needed an early check-in as our tour ended and we stayed an extra night in Vic Falls. Wencilasis went above and beyond to help us out, with patience and a smile. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the facilities were well-maintained. Someone mentioned that the room was small—after 3 weeks camping around Southern Africa, ours was more than adequate! Shopping and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Would stay again!

Convenient location
This hotel is walkable to the falls. There is a great restaurant very close. The room was clean but tiny. Good value for money. My room was on the first floor and it was very noisy. I heard music from the pool bar and people in the lobby. I slept with ear plugs on.

Great hotel!
Great location a short walk from Vic falls town and the falls Nice (small) pool great for cooling off Laundry service was a godsend after a mobile safari! Nice breakfast, you can also get nearby outside the hotel The only downside was the taxi to the airport after our stay, a rickety old car with a smashed windscreen and no seatbelts, but it got us there ok

N1 was a good spot for a stopover hotel in Victoria Falls. The rooms were small but had all you needed for a decent sleep and shower after 5 weeks of camping. It is well located in town and close to great restaurants, brewery and the distillery. It is also 20mins walk to entrance of Vic Falls and other locations such as The Lookout Cafe. I didn’t use any facilities like the restaurant or pool as I spent most of my time enjoying other food locations in Vic Falls

Nice place near Victoria Falls
There are only a few hotels close to Vic Fall, and this one worked for us. The staff was very accommodating, and we originally booked a double room (not sure if it was a true double bed or a queen/king). Turns out it was a double, and we are too tall for that - so they were able to move us to a room with 2 twins that worked better. The only shortcoming is lack of elevator and we were on the 2nd floor (and I had a hip problem, making the stairs somewhat difficult). They have same day laundry service ($5/bag) which was very nice. There are several places to eat and a craft market just outside. The room was very quiet. There were also taxis available outside to take us shopping or to the bridge/border to Zambia.

Good Budget stay but room for improvement.
Overall the stay was neither here nor there. The hot water geyser did not work properly - hot water came out for a few minutes then was cold. And the room was incredibly small - not that that can be changed. The remote did not work, and what a mission to get the batteries changed. The reception staff were friendly, and so was the housekeeping team! Good budget stay overall and the location was great.

It was as expected in a country like Zimbabwe. The hotel was ok, nothing special. We just needed a place to stay for a couple of nights. The pool was disgusting though. Hadn't been cleaned in years by the look of it. The surrounding area was unsafe with hawkers everywhere harrassing you to buy stuff. Never venture out at night

Ok for a one night stay
My sister and I stayed here for one night on two separate occasions in a twin room. We had both positive and negative experiences each time. The reception staff were friendly and check in was quite smooth. The hotel itself is well located, easy walking distance to the falls (though be careful of the wild animals if walking there), good food options close by (we visited both the brewery and the 3 monkeys. There is no shortage of markets or people trying to sell you stuff. Our first room was clean and relatively spacious, with a number of powerpoints. The beds were worn more on one side than the otherbut still remained comfortable, though one was very squeaky if you moved during the night. The downside was there was no hot water. We WhatsApp the front desk, and they told us it would be on in half an hour, so we waited. 45mins later there was still no hot water so we had cold showers. When we came back after our tour for a night, our room was a little smaller with limited power points. We did however have hot water which was nice. However, the roof above one bed in particular was covered in mould. Had we been staying more than one night i would have requested to move rooms as it is a health issue. The beds were again worn on the side away from the wall like the first room, a little squeaky but still comfortable. I would recommend booking airport transfers elsewhere as ours did not go well. There was a shop selling water etc which was handy

Simple overnight stay
I stayed 1 night after a safari trek across southern Africa. The staff were great, the room acceptable, a light breakfast in the morning was appreciated. Everything in the room worked, the bed was comfy. An in-house store was handy for drinks/snacks. The location is great, near the Falls and the downtown shopping areas, craft market and restaurants. There is a pool, which looked nice, but i didn't use it. I would recommend N1 for short stays. A very pleasant overnight!

Expectations were high given reviews. Good value for money. Good location in terms of distance to Falls and other facilities. Room disappointing. Poor lighting. Very poor air-conditioning. Average state of repair. Bathroom door would not close fully and was extremely noisy to open and close. I would stay again, but not in room 122.

This is a short walk to Victoria, Falls, and other activities in the town. Lots of tourist activities to do. Victoria Falls is full of people constantly hitting you up for things like purchasing stuff or giving them money. That gets old quickly, but the adventure as well worth it. Victoria Falls is one of the seven natural wonders of the world and this is a nice place to stay considering many places in Zimbabwe don’t have showers and air conditioning. I recommend staying here.
