My sister and I stayed here for one night on two separate occasions in a twin room. We had both positive and negative experiences each time.
The reception staff were friendly and check in was quite smooth.
The hotel itself is well located, easy walking distance to the falls (though be careful of the wild animals if walking there), good food options close by (we visited both the brewery and the 3 monkeys. There is no shortage of markets or people trying to sell you stuff.
Our first room was clean and relatively spacious, with a number of powerpoints. The beds were worn more on one side than the otherbut still remained comfortable, though one was very squeaky if you moved during the night. The downside was there was no hot water. We WhatsApp the front desk, and they told us it would be on in half an hour, so we waited. 45mins later there was still no hot water so we had cold showers.
When we came back after our tour for a night, our room was a little smaller with limited power points. We did however have hot water which was nice. However, the roof above one bed in particular was covered in mould. Had we been staying more than one night i would have requested to move rooms as it is a health issue. The beds were again worn on the side away from the wall like the first room, a little squeaky but still comfortable.
I would recommend booking airport transfers elsewhere as ours did not go well.
There was a shop selling water etc which was handy
