Likely one of the best hidden gems in Germany. Exceptional staff and location resulted in a restful and rejuvenating stay. The meals were delicious and prepared with local fresh ingredients. The access to the Black Forest is literally steps away; be it hiking or biking. Few suggestions, 1) book a room on the lake side as the road is a bit loud at night and 2) bring a pillow as the ones provided are very German. 10/10 and will return!

Personnel à l'accueil parle français, pas au restaurant mais on arrive à se faire comprendre. Dommage que des pantoufles ne sont pas prévues dans le kit avec les peignoirs pour accéder à la piscine. N'ayant pas de pantoufles j'ai acheté 3 euros sur place. Au prix de la chambre ça devrait être inclus.

Eine wirklich schöne Reise. Die Mitarbeiter waren allesamt sehr freundlich und zuvorkommen. Das Zimmer sehr ansprechend und das Frühstück ausreichend und sehr lecker. Es wäre jedoch schön Wenn Spa und Abendessen länger möglich wäre. Wenn man Wandern ist und erst Abends wiederkommt, muss man sich leider entscheiden Essen gehen oder in die Sauna/Schwimmbad. Hier wäre bis 21 Uhr sehr willkommen gewesen.

Check in freundlich und schnell. Zimmer nicht wirklich sauber, in dem Kasten waren noch FFP2 Masken und Snacks vom vorigen Gast. Im Badezimmer an den Fliesen waren Haare. Nicht sehr appetitlich. Naja, das kann man ja noch irgendwie akzeptieren, aber Frühstück ab 7:00 geht für Arbeiter überhaupt nicht. Da ist es dann auch gleichgültig, was angeboten wird.

sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, schöner Wellnessbereich, Zimmer in Ordnung, „Zubehör“ wie Bademäntel und Handtücher teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen mit Löchern und Ausfransungen, aber sauber. voilà un bel endroit pour vous relaxer
Nous avions une belle chambre propre avec balcon et vue sur le lac. la salle de bains était dans un état impeccable ( sèche cheveux, miroir grossissant, belle douche, serviettes moelleuses). la chambre également était très propre avec un lit de 2 ml de large, matelas excellent. nous avions très bien dormi, c'est très calme. le petit déjeuner est très varié avec de bons produits et suffisamment de choix autant salé que sucré. le personnel est souriant et avenant. la piscine et alentours très propre.

Great hotel facilities, bad rooms
We got a terrible room- without a balcony(although order clearly says with balcony, they blamed Hotels.com for sending it wrong), and worst of all it was in a construction site of their redecorations, which had construction workers walking around it smoking right into our windows and their chemical toilet in front of our room, the smells were horrible. The room felt outdated, unclean, and the bed was tiny. After complaining to the manager they moved us to a slightly better room the second night.

Das familiär geführte Hotel hat eine wunderschöne Alleinlage mit Blick in den Schwarzwald, die Zimmer mit 'Seeblick' sind ideal für Ruhesuchende, der Wellnessbereich rundet dieses Gefühl auf sehr angenehme Weise ab. Hervorragendes Essen. EIgener Kräuttergarten vor dem Haus, der kleine See mit Schwänen, Enten und Fischen (fangfrisch), Schafe stehen auf der etwas entfernt liegenden Weide. Sehr erholsam und natürlich. Sehr aufmerksamer Service, herzliches und sehr freundliches Personal. Gastlichkeit mit großer Familientradition. Wer kleine Geschäfte und Cafès mag, findet alles im nur 1 km entfernten Freudenstadt mit Bebauung aus dem 1600, dessen großer Marktplatz.von Arkaden umrahmt wird und unbedingt eine Reise wert ist.
