Great companies, watch out for noises

External noise would be the biggest downside if staying at the rooms by the front desk. Noise such as rude drivers keeping their hand down on the horn for minutes for the most minuscule thing on the road. Other than that, there's always a good group of folks staying at this place that's down to explore or hang out together.

The rooms are really small, so be prepared for that. Not much space to spread your stuff. If you have a lot of suitcases it will be really hard for you. I think it would be good for backpackers that travel light. I liked that the bathrooms and shower was decent in the rooms that I stayed in. I stayed in an all female dorm which was in a separate area down the hall from the office and the other rooms. The bathrooms and showers were not that great by the office. I didn't like how it had a rundown look. For the price it was good because I mainly used it just to sleep, but if you are looking for a good place to relax and rest then maybe this is not the right place. The lounge is also small so not many people can be there. They do events like eating out so it is a great way to meet people. This hostel is really hit or miss so it is up to you to decide on what experience you want to have. Personally for me I like to have more space and have a place that I can relax in so this hostel did not fit but I did like the price.

location is very convinient whereever i visit and go shopping but toilet smell was spread public area when i came in cos of open door at rest room. overall is fine and worthy staying based on fee.

飯店由尖沙嘴A1出口右轉，2分鐘可達。位置極佳。在海防大廈的5樓，1樓有警位，安全度不用擔心。飯店內有提供礦泉水可裝，有提供吹風機，沒有拖鞋和毛巾需自備。沐浴用品也建議自備。入住不用押金。房間內空間不大，適合背包客或是短期入住。

Perfect location

Maybe a little bit more worn out as on the pictures. Stuff is nice, generally it is clean, location is perfect, just by the metro, shops and airport bus.

Left STRANDED in the middle of night

I was checked in early on Nov 1st but the receptionist did not give me keys or show me my room/Bed. Later on when I returned after my exploration at night, surprisingly the receptionist was not there nor any other representative. and I was STRANDED with no where to go. I had a place to sleep courtesy a stranger. Hotels.com should refund my money for the service I was not provided.

Avoid like the plague

I have no idea why this place has such high reviews. It's the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. Rooms were dirty, bed had hair all over it (I'm confident the sheets weren't changed as I was checked in early despite saying I could go away for a while and come back later to ensure everything was done), it was freezing at night due to the AC having to be kept on, they cram far too many people into one room, if you're on the bottom bunk you feel like you're paying on the floor, bathroom sink was always dirty (the female dorm isn't shown in any of their online pix but it certainly does not look like what's advertised), staff were unhelpful and 2 girls ended up fighting over a bed because they weren't shown exactly which bed belonged to whom, just given keys and directed to the dorm. Location was good though. I've stayed in other hostels in the building that were miles better, do yourself a favour and go to one of those!

エレベーターで5階に上がり、右側一番奥がロビーです。チェックインはスムーズに行えました。部屋を案内され、二台ならんだ三段ベッドの奥側一番上だと伝えられました。もうその時点で安眠は諦めてギリギリまで外にいることを覚悟しました。お風呂とトイレは一緒になっているタイプです。すっごい汚いというわけではないですが、できるなら避けたい感じ。部屋の中にシャワールームがあるので、夜中に浴びると迷惑になるのは間違いないでしょう。シャンプーやらは置いてある箇所もありますが、他の誰かの私物なのかもしれません。(使ってません) 夜中に部屋に帰ってきて、もちろん部屋は真っ暗。みなさん寝ています。なるべく音を立てないように梯子を登るのですが、予想以上に登りにくい。一番上のベッドにしがみつきながら何とかベッドに乗る感じでした。ちなみにわたしはバックパック１つでしたが、キャリーバッグをベッドの上で広げようなんて思わない方がいいです。持ち上げて登るのが無理、ベッドが狭すぎて広げるのが無理の二本立てです。キャリーバッグは部屋の隅っこにみんな置いていたようです。ロッカーもありますが、それこそバックパックくらいしか入りません。何とかベッドに辿り着いてまた一難。天井が近すぎるのです。座った状態で体を起こしたら確実にヒットします。持って上がったかばんから物を取り出すのもほふく前進の状態です。そして気付きました。他のベッドにはライトとコンセントとカーテンがあるのに一番上だけ何もないことを…。もはや何をするのも諦めて、そのまま布団に潜りました。しかしさらに問題が。クーラーが真横にあり、風が出ていると寒い。なんかこの状況、口コミで見たことあるなと思いつつ、近すぎる天井を見つめながら就寝……のはずが、いつもわりとどこでも寝られるのにほとんど寝られませんでした。ちなみに寝返りを打つとうるさい&揺れます。寝られないまま早朝にチェックアウト。鍵をフロントに置くだけです。外に出て、体が自由に動かせる幸せを感じました。つらつら書きましたが、三段ベッドの一番上じゃなければそこそこ快適だと思います。安いし、中心地から近いので寝るだけならばおすすめします。ただし快眠できるかどうかはあなた次第。

A must if your a backpacker in Hong Kong

Great hostel in ideal location being right in the city a few minutes walk to city light show and two train stops from central nightlife. Front desk girls are nice, common area has great vibe and I’d definitely stay again

Great Weekend

I had a great time staying at Rainbow Lodge. Staff are very friendly and accommodating like you can just go ask them something and they are always happy to help, the place is always clean (which is very important), you have everything you need. Free water, coffee, tea, wifi, etc. Worry free f you stay here especially for someone like me who's travelling solo. MTR and bus stations are just outside the building. Near everything, shops, restaurants, etc. Totally recommend this hostel.

立地は良いです。

立地はどこに行くにも便利です。女性専用のドミトリーに宿泊。窓はなし。３段ベッドで目隠し用の布がある。個人のスペースにコンセントに有り。(USB で充電できる) 水回りは普通(綺麗な方だと思った)。部屋の中と廊下にもトイレ、シャワールームがある。ウォーターサーバーみたいなのもある。ドミトリーのフリーWi-Fiも良く入った。あとは、ご飯を一緒に食べに行くイベントも開催しているようです。

위치는 좋지만 다시 가지는 않을 듯

처음 찾기는 어렵지만 위치는 좋았습니다. 하지만 야간 비행기로 가서 미리 호텔스닷컴 문자를 통해 연락을 드렸는데 제 방이 아예 없더라고요.... 누락되었습니다... 급하게 매트릭스 깔아주고 했는데... 얼마차이 안나지만 좀 더 주고 여성도미토리예약했는데 거기는 아예 방이 없어서 혼용도미토리에서 잤습니다.. (차액환불안해줌) 카운터에서 일하시는 분들은 영어 굉장히 잘하시고 중국어도 하십니다. 피곤하기도 하고 영어를 엄청 잘하지도 못해 그냥 왔지만, 새벽비행기이신분들은 누락되시지 않게 체크인시간 더블체크 잘 하고 가셔야 할 듯해요. 새벽에 카운터가 없어요!!! I booked this hostel but they didn't check... : ( Dawn flight tourist must be double check!
