Well presented but noise issues.
We were booked into the Purrumbete suite which was very well presented and recently renovated. However, this suite has another suite above it and the construction is such that you can hear conversations and the people walking around in the upper unit. During our stay this situation caused considerable noise and disturbance of sleep on our second night. Further, the guests who were in the room on this night were rude and totally inconsiderate of other guests, even after asking for their cooperation. While internet bookings may make it difficult to assess the behaviour of guests, the room location, being under the upper unit, does cause issues in terms of sound deadening and that needs to be addressed sooner than later. If you plan to stay at this motel, then ask if this issue has been addressed.

We thought the only thing missing was blackout blinds. We enjoyed our stay in all other respects

Parking is always an issue - parking bays are marked (numbered) but needs some clearer ground marking. Have been staying here for 20 years and always enjoyed the rooms and environment but recent decision to remove some items (including eggs) from provisions is really confusing. Seems ok to keep biscuits (which are full of sugar and unhealthy fats) but eggs (and bread) are not deemed a healthy eating option? Really? .

It was an interesting and easy to access property. The spiral staircase to go to toilet at night was a bit scary - we navigated okay but a bit of a clearer warning might be useful. Kitchen was okay but not well set up or stocked compared to some. But overall a nice property and place to stay.

Really interesting property with lots of character. Some of the decor was a bit dated but still in good condition.

Surprise package in the bush.
By far the most extraordinary room I have booked. Solid wood, leather chairs, fine art, two lecterns (beat that!) a spiral staircase and a spa. Getting out of the spa was the only issue- not because I couldn’t but because I didn’t want to. Also peaceful, quiet, serene.

It was a fantastic place to stay at Camperdown! Very clean, full of equipment and the most exciting thing of our stay was that they provided ingredients to have breakfast in our property! In a word, that was amazing! Highly recommended!

Room was fine. Venue was very quiet. Because we stayed 3 days, in hindsight deal could have been better.
