The location is as good as can be, bring VERY close to everything downtown Nantuvket has to offer plus provides off street parking. Entry ambience is old timey. There is no elevator so be prepared to climb if your room is above the first floor. Our top floor room could not be completely darkened due to the curtain arrangement. The room was chilly at first however staff quickly provided an electric heater which did the job.

The room was much much smaller than advertised. Since the room had a window AC unit, I could the hear the water dropping from above room’AC unit. I’d stay away from this hotel.

I liked the location and historic nature of the property. Continential breakfast was decent but they kept running out of items. The room was a bit small and you couldn't close the blinds all the way due to the retrofit A/C unit. We were located next to a restaurant/bar where people were really loud until late in the evening. Price was high at over $350 per night but not relative to other properties on the island. Property provided transportation to the ferry but not the local airport. Some staff were very friendly while some were not.

Love the friendly professional staff. Each room is unique. Back stairs up to our room were a bit tricky but it’s a historic building. Great complimentary breakfast with baked goods still warm!

Delightful staff, and a few and immaculate historic inn.
Only downside is two flights of stairs and a tiny room with the bed up against the wall. Be sure you choose the room that works for you.

The hotel is very well located, it has historic value, the staff was super helpful, you get access to pretty good bicycles and towels for the beach. The breakfast ranks 3 out 10: The much cheaper hotels outside of Nantucket provide 10 times the choice but that's Nantucket.
Our room was nice, clean and the bed super comfortable. The bathroom however was kind of scary. The whole shower needed to be redone, actually the whole bathroom did. We were on the first floor and we could hear the people in the courtyard pretty loudly and one night the room next to us they were speaking until passed midnight and it was like they were with us...

The location is great and walkable to numerous places you will want to visit.
The room and bathroom are outdated but the furniture could use the most attention as it was dirty and the desk had been clearly glued together numerous times.
The continental breakfast was a nice addition and the staff were friendly.
