What we needed for a brief stay, great location
We needed to stay as close as we could to the townhall and the caspian certainly provided the proximity. It’s a big old house, it can be a bit echoy but have to say the owner was very welcoming, quick efficient and understanding. The room was comfortable and adequate for our needs. I’d say to anyone looking for cheap, cheerful and close to everything then this is your hotel. I suspect some reviewers need to remember you get what you pay for and in London for these prices is nothing short of a miracle! The breakfast was very pleasing with fresh fruit, further options and continental provisions. Thank you very much!

Caspian Hotel near Ealing Broadway Tube Station
We had a good sized room with a double and a single bed, a table, two chairs, and a tv. Lovely warm comforters were on the beds; which we needed as the room was quite cold in the evening. For breakfast you could have soft or hard boiled eggs with cereal, lunch meats, cheese, toast, yogurt, muffins and fruit. The wifi was good and the staff was pleasant.

Handy and Homely two-star
Hosts were friendly and helpful. The building is rather run-down (e.g. creaking wooden floorboards, no carpet, stain marks on bathroom floor), though they've tried to smarten up the room. It was surprisingly sound-proof. Pretty garden and quite good breakfast. Very handy for Ealing Broadway rail and Underground.

Annual rugby weekend
The hotel is well situated for the tube and mainline station. Having a car park is a bonus in this area, but watch out for the tree on the way in!
The friendliness is terrific from all the staff. Then you meet the owner! Quite a character, but in the nicest possible way. This is a small family run place, so don't go expecting the corporate blandness of the chains. We loved it and will be back.

Great location
Staff was helpful in allowing us to check-in early and assist with arrangements for transportation to airport at the end of our stay. Breakfast was satisfactory. Room was spacious. Dirty dishes and trash had been left in our room upon arrival. And room was not cleaned while we were there (7 days). Toiletries were not provided.

Great location
We used the Caspian for an overnight stay while attending a friend's birthday party so we didn't spend much time in the room. We have a very spacious family room - the bathroom (shower room) was a little dingy but serviceable. Great location for Ealing shops and bars and really close to the Tube station. Nice little garden and very friendly host. Breakfast was continental but plentiful and they did make boiled eggs for us.

Happy Days! (And nights!)
Stayed for a couple of nights with the missus whilst in London to watch the FA Cup semi (Wembley being fairly close.)Liked the room, very comfy and a great balance of modern and "shabby-chic". Owner was very welcoming and the breakfast was superb! Great location also a bonus. Plus, We beat Watford to get to the final, so happy days!

Average for the price
We only stayed one night, breakfast wasn't included and we didn't eat there. It wasn't much like a hotel, more like lodging rooms.

Highly recommended
This is a cool place to stay with a bed and breakfast look and feel. Our room had a private shower which had an electric water heater ... the faucet in the bathroom was just cold water. For me, price is the key consideration is price since London is a VERY expensive city. It is easy to get to Central London on a single subway from Ealing, and from there you can walk or take another short subway ride to get where you want. Ealing is a lively neighborhood, and if you explore a little you will find high end homes that cost around 3 million pounds or more, so it is a pretty high end neighborhood in some respects, though it has a middle class feel. The staff was helpful and friendly -- for example they printed our bus tickets to Paris for free.
