I would stay here again. The room was really interesting and unique and was good value for downtown Vancouver. There was also a roof top garden and sauna. The staff were very friendly and there were baked goods available in the morning. It was also just a short walk from the bus stop. The only down side is that it is right on the border between a touristy area (Gas Town) and a rather sketchy area. However, it is easy enough to avoid the sketchy area by heading west out of the hotel for a block or so before going north towards Gas Town.

It’s important to know that there is a lot of homelessness and drug use in the area but we walked back from the concert at 11:00pm with no trouble. This hotel is a great option for accommodation close to the Roger’s Arena for concerts. The hotel is well kept & has beautiful artwork throughout. The bed was comfortable and the room had great amenities. The croissants and coffee in the morning were delicious. We would stay here again.

The hotel staff were SO great - accommodated requests, gave recommendations, etc. the property itself was nice and the rooms were spacious. I only had two complaints: the room’s AC units are very loud and when they kicked on in the middle of the night they’d wake me up. Two: while the area is very walkable to Gastown and Chinatown areas, there’s also a lot of people hanging out on the street by the hotel. I didnt have any issues, everyone was minding their own business and no one was aggressive, but it was still a little bit unsettling.
