Lovely little place
The hotel is a short walk to the island of flores, restaurants and shops. It sots on the banks of the lake so it has a lovely view. The room itself was comfy and spacious. Good choice of breakfast in the morning. Great little pool to chill too after a long day out

Highly recommended
The staff was very helpful. The view of the lake was awesome. The hotel was quiet and peaceful overall. We could hear loud club music from another hotel or restaurant nearby but I was still able to sleep. An easy 10 minute walk to restaurants on Flores island. They let us check out late which was very helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Hotel was ok but the rooms are old. Granny bedding and coverlets for pillow cases. Pillows old and thin. Sheets are old. Hot water took forever. No English speaking staff which was odd for a tourist area. Decent location but that part of town is not very clean.

The hotel was clean and well kept. Front desk managers we accommodating . I check out left my luggage and came back after a day at Tikal . I was able to get a room to rest and shower before my flight back to Guatemala City. I enjoyed Flores it was a small town with traditional sites and souvenirs- I ate at a few places - very reasonable- the hotel front desk always gave me average pricing for taxied, tok told and any local price I needed.

The hotel was not what we expected. The room we received was subpar. The small extendable mirror was dangling from the wall in the bathroom. The front desk person didn't seem concerned about it when told and didn't offer to have it repaired. The bathroom smelled of sewage after showering. Not pleasant at all. The bedding was dingy. The pool is located in an awkward area - between the party room and the dining area. Not ideal. Dinner at the restaurant was at best ok. Nothing to write home about. There's a restaurant across the street as well as a creperie. Down the road there is a fast food restaurant and a supermarket.

Rooms look tired and dated. Surfaces on furniture worn and chipped. Floors had stains. We had to use the decorative bed pillows to sleep. Slow wi-fi. We used the pool, but had nasty chlorine smell (which I know are called chloramines which are not good for you). It had some nasty foam on the corners and it was not crystal clean. We decided to get out after just a few minutes. Nice architecture and freshly painted outside. Breakfast was decent. Service was slow on the waterfront bar. We didn’t like the big concrete bench that blocks the view to the lake and the beautiful Flores island from the pool. It may be practical, but definitely doesn’t help the ambiance.
