Check-in was a bit frustrating, involving the need to switch rooms. Room was decent, but AC wasn't overly powerful or cool. Hotel itself isn't too far from the subway and is close to the Electronics mall, which is well worth visiting if you're into anything and everything involving electronics.

A great value and a great location.
I always try to find hotels near food and easy access to transportation, this hotel meets both and more, there’s big shopping mall close by as well. Subway stop is a block and half away, that subway line goes to the airport on one end and to the heart of town on the other end. The hotel room is spacious and clean, if there was a bathtub that will make it perfect. Overall, this hotel is a great value. I will always stay here when I am in Shenzhen and when rooms are available.

Old hotel, great location, great price
The hotel is a bit old but clean although my non-smoking room was a bit "smoke smelly", they even had the window open when I entered the room. But other than that I enjoyed my stay especially because of its vicinity to the electronics market.

Not a great experence!
My view of the recent stay is that is falls BELOW all the ratings which I read in Hotel.com's review. In particular, the hotel staff is not very friendly and helpful. Very cold and impersonal when ask questions. None of the front desk staff ever smile to their hotel guests.

Great hotel
Perfect location. Helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely go again Only a few metres from metro. Fantastic shopping centre up the road with everything you would want including markets with bargain products. Really the only complaint was the poor wifi. It does work but a bit slow and prone to dropping out for a few seconds. Tested it in several locations in the hotel made no difference But I was on a business trip and it was useable. One last thing, this applies to any hotel in China. There can be mosquitos in your room and you can't see them. Did not try the restaurant. Prefer McDonalds McCafe up the road. At night - Put on the spray. Also on ankles if your feet stick out of the bottom of the bed. Or long socks. The bites can be big in Shenzhen.

Great window view and very good value for money
We stayed for two days and decided to use the same hotel for three more days instead of changing . Service was excellent and efficient , all speak English . Window view over looking to the Hong Kong side with greens next to the hotel, it's really peaceful and rooms were quiet . Recommended . 15 mins easy walk from Shenzhen / Lowu train station (Hong Kong)

Clean Hotel Near to SEG Plaza
This is your normal Chinese hotel that is quite well kept but lacking strict guidelines on non-smoking room/area. We asked for a non-smoking room but the nicotine smell is all over the room. In fact the whole floor is a smoking alley. People puffing away while the room door are opened widely is a norm and the smoke alarm even triggered during our stay. The breakfast is pretty normal with not much western food except bread that are too dry. Many local dishes though. Hotel is very close to nearby metro station and is walking distance to SEG Plaza.

Great place to stay near SEG market
Price is perfect, and location is right beside all the action to the SEG electronic market area. Shopping can be intense, so nice when hotel is right there in the area to drop off bags each time you make purchases, not to have to carry goods with you all day. Hotel is clean, quiet, comfortable. Also safe, we had lots of electronics in our room, and not one thing stolen. Been staying many years at this hotel, its my favorite.

solid Shenzhen hotel option
Excellent location, right next to subway line, electronics market and near Shenzhen Central Park which provides a nice break when needed. Several small eateries and convenience stores nearby. Service was very good, English at reception was good enough. Breakfast was excellent. Room was very clean, well appointed and bed softer than most in China. Would stay here again.

Great location
I stayed here for 3 weeks and the stay was very pleasant. Close to Metro and great shopping for electronics. Disappointed that when I requested a non smoking room they put me on a smoking floor, so in the evening all I could smell was smoke coming under the door. They had dedicated Non- smoking floors, why did they not put me on one of these floors.

Great location and spacious room
Hotel is located near the metro and makes it convenient to go anywhere. Room is pretty spacious but would like to highlight that the free commodities (water,etc) are in the cupboard, we thought we had to pay for them, whereas the stuff that aren't free are displayed outside. For people who didn't know better might be confused.
