Weekend getaway.
Wanted to stay in an old Florida, old school motel, and this is it. Clean, friendly staff, perfect location. Only wish bed was a little softer. Can’t wait to stay again.

I chose this motel because it had a 9.4 exceptional rating. Fool me once - never again! I normally don't write negative reviews. But Hotels.com keeps badering me for a review. Our room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The room smelled very musty. The pedestal sink had nowhere to put your toiletries. The building was very old. The grounds were well kept. I've been a militarty/airline/corporate pilot traveling the world for over 40 years. I've stayed in thousands of hotels. This was my least favorite. Crummy at best, but clean. I really have to wonder where all those positive reviews of this place came from? Maybe 8.7 stars in some people's eyes? But 9.4 Exceptional? What the hell? We paid $400 for 1 night. At $200 a night in season in the Keys, it might be a 3 star in someone else's opinion. But terrible, in my opinion. I would not stay there for free...

The Seascape is a hidden gem! A small place with a lot to offer! A pool with options to kayak or paddleboard! Do you want to fish off the dock- then consider this place! I loved my stay here and wish I had the time to extend. The staff were so friendly and personable. The women I met showed me around the property upon arrival. There were kayaks, paddle boards, and bicycles to enjoy at our leisure. Beautiful water front view with a private beach. The room was clean and quiet at night. I will be a returning guest!

A hidden gem! We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the perfect energy. Very low key. The staff members are really helpful and welcoming and the amenities on site were perfect for our needs. With the stunning ocean views, the included access to kayaks and bikes, and the proximity to everything else the Keys has to offer, would recommend this place in a heartbeat.
