The room was clean and renovated, close to many big chain stores like Walmart, Ross, Marshall’s, Macy’s, JcPenny, HomeGoods and many more, Downey Inn is located in the heart of Downey, was there for 5 nights, I would stay there again. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful.

The front desk was maybe disorganized but accommodating. The room was nicely updated - I would note that the lighting is a bit harsh, but I am sensitive to that sort of thing. I would recommend getting a room on the second or third floor if you can, as majority of the ground floor is adjacent to a busy road and the noise can be bothersome.

Newly renovated and the cleaning lady's do an amazing job at maintaining the rooms clean. They don't just clean really quick so it looks clean they actually deep clean the rooms the only negative thing I have to say is they don't have smart TVs and their channels suck
