You get what you pay for here. It’s a no frills hotel. Our room was small, and we didn’t even have a window, but it is a great location for the Machu Picchu bus, the train station, good dining and shopping.

When checked in, we were assigned rooms on 2nd and 3rd floor. After changing and leaving hotel to find food, the receptionist chased us down the street because she had checked out wrong room. The :rd floor room was changed to 4th floor - which had no hot water during our stay. We had to go to front desk to get towels and toilet paper. One room had a jacuzzi tub with a shower, but no shower curtain. No rooms had blow dryers. We found out upon checking out that we could have gotten a blow dryer from the front desk.
One of our party required medical care. When I went to front desk to ask for help, they said they would call. It took 2 more requests before doctor was actually called. Doctor prescribed medicine that he did not have with him. He said he would deliver to the hotel later. I checked with front desk twice to ask about medicine and was told there was none. Walked to clinic the following day to pick up meds. Doctor was disappointed it had not been delivered since he had brought it to hotel the previous day. When we got back to the hotel, the medicine was indeed at the front desk. Very disappointing since my husband needed the meds.
When making reservation, I contacted property and was told rooms had windows. Rooms have windows that open to interior of hotel. No views of the beautiful mountains. The hotel response was misleading since I thought we had booked rooms with views.
Overall, location was okay. Bedding was comfortable. Just lower your expectations.

On a passé une nuit à agua calientes. On a pris une chambre familiale (4 personnes) mais il manquait une serviette. On a demandé à l’accueil, ils nous ont dit ok mais rien n’est arrivé! On s’est couché tôt (car levé 4h pour le machu picchu) mais lumière sur le palier qui éclairait la chambre (car des fenêtres donnaient sur la palier, cachées par un rideau) et isolation sonore pas folle. Sinon chambre propre mais pas d’eau chaude le matin!

Hotel con malos olores
Muy mala experiencia en este hotel. Es un pequeñito hotel sobre la avenida más ruidosa de Aguas Calientes. Nos dieron una habitación en el piso 4. No hay ascensor. La habitación tenía un mal olor a orines. El desayuno es bastante modesto y los huevos estaban fríos. Para terminar de cerrar este horrible capítulo nos echaron del hotel a pesar de tener una reservación confirmada con hoteles.com alegando que la reservación existía pero que el hotel estaba lleno y no podían respetar la segunda noche reservada.

Excelente hotel que precisa de melhor gestão
Excelente hotel, muito bem localizado. Elegante, com restaurante e quarto muito espaçoso, pequena varanda , nos surpreendeu! Porém, infelizmente há muito desleixo por parte da equipe. Na recepção há água quente para chás e um bebedouro que nunca tinha água. Muitas vezes a recepção está vazia, o que foi o caso no nosso check in. Mas o maior problema está no quarto, um vacilo bobo, mas imperdoável: não há blackout numa rua extremamente agitada e iluminada. A porta do quarto tinha uma parte de vidro que vazava luz do corredor, tanto que os próprios hóspedes a apagavam! Mas o pior era o banheiro, com uma banheira de hidromassagem conjugada com o chuveiro e sem box ou, sequer, uma cortina! Era surreal!!! Tomar um banho relaxante depois de um dia cansativo, impossível! O banheira e a bancada da pia ficam inundados!!! Molhava os tapetes e nossos itens pessoais. Fora que a água não esquentava, conforme o relato de muitos hóspedes. Café razoável mas com erros , tb: suco quente, café frio, ovos mexidos frios, tb. Uma pena, porque o hotel tem tudo para ser excelente! Ressalvo a simpatia da atendente Daniele e a recepção elegante da cachorrinha Jana.
