Recommend for short stay.
A large recently renovated conference type hotel with economic weekend rates. Clean, tidy and comfortable for an overnight stay. Only downside was a small bar with bottled drinks only and a very minimal restaurant menu. A short two mile drive to Kenilworth provided an abundance of food and drinks.

Great stay
I was a bit apprehensive about staying after reading some reviews but was really surprised. I found the staff really friendly and helpful the bar staff were great. Our room had been recently refurbished and was clean and spacious. The bed was ok but could tell it had seen better days but still slept okay. We ate in the restaurant both nights we stayed and found the food to be really lovely and reasonably priced. All the staff had time for us and were eager to chat with us when we asked any questions. Will definitely stay here again. If you enjoy a walk just down from the hotel is a public path which leads you to a trail along the river Avon which was a really nice walk

One night stay
Friendly staff, not much information available about what food was available at the hotel. No breakfast or evening meal menus anywhere. Room was clean and comfortable. Shame the curtains didn't fit properly and let lots of light in, no rail or coat hangers in the wardrobe and no plug in the sink. But overall a good stay.

Business trip
Only a small bar area open acting as a “restaurant”. Very limited curry menu only and not all items even available. Limited drinks selection.

8/10 Very good

The property has just been taken over and the staff are keen to make sure that everything is ok and to help you get the most out of your stay, some of the furniture looked a little dated but rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, Albert on the desk was super helpful and professional

They have no accommodation standards. .. Deplorable conditions! Somebody was drilling into a wall behind my bedroom window at 8.30 am . Avid at all costs

A few of us checked in for a couple of nights for an exhibition nearby. Easy and convenient location. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. With food available for both evening meals and breakfast. The best thing about the hotel though is the staff. Albert is awesome. Probably the most honest and friendly host you will meet. He is an asset to the hotel and hopefully he is greatly appreciated… absolutely FANTASTIC

I stayed here during an event at Stoneleigh park, the hotel is only a few minutes drive away. The hotel is under renovation but this has no impact on the stay. Albert at the reception was fantastic, great conversation and customer service. One of the best reception chats I've ever had! The room was clean and tidy, I will stay here again next year.

Handy for Stoneleigh, Maybe 2* atm
The hotel was perfectly situation to Stoneleigh Park. However, it was clear that the hotel was being renovated. Our room was small with some type of arabic writing, or similar, on the furniture. The restaurant was closed and we ate in the bar. Very short of staff who did their best. Looking at the history of this hotel, maybe it should have been closed, renovated and reopened when ready to accept paying guests.

Property needed renovation. It’s in the process of renovation. There is limited dining room. There is limited bar space , some of the fixtures and fittings in the bedrooms and bathrooms of poor. I really need replacing but they are off to a degree working on it but it’s got a long way to go.

It is not that bad as described in the previous review. The hotel is quite old and furniture are old, but the room is big and clean. TV/Shower is working properly which is good. There is air con. The bathroom has been refurbished. So everything functions properly. Restaurant is open with varieties, although I didn’t try.

The young lad on reception and the lady were absolutely fantastic. The gentleman went above and beyond to help accommodate our needs. He was extremely friendly and helpful. A true credit to the hotel industry. The bed was comfy and we had hot water, tea/coffee, a smart tv, hot shower and toiletries. Thank you

No children’s menu available, curtains broken in the room very shabby looking and photographs outdated to current condition of the place

4/10 Fair

Good points the hotel was clean, inexpensive and convenient for the showground. Bad Pours the corridors were cold. Curtains falling off the rail in my room and the dominant colour was brown. The bathroom though clean was a brown tiled box. My view was of a scrubby building site for a patio. Okay just about for a night but for but will not return.

Great value for money!
I was greeted by Alberto at Reception, a very friendly helpful young man. My room was modern and spacious and had air conditioning. The bathroom was also modern and had a lovely hot shower. I ate in the bar in the evening and there was a great choice of vegetarian meals. I had breakfast the next morning and did not see many veggie options for the cooked breakfasts, but to be fair I did not ask about them as I had the continental breakfast. A very pleasant stay and great value for money.

Room was clean but the double was 2 singles pushed together and only I flat pillow each . We had an ironing board and no iron .. the shower was good and so was the air con
