Stayed in one of the villas. The place was decently clean although we did find some utensils that had been left dirty from the previous person. Beds are comfortable enough but worn. Really nice new bathroom. Only a couple minute walk to the main road with all the stores and restaurants. Very friendly staff. Buffet is great and worth it.

Great stay. We had a villa. No view. Carpet had a musty smell but other than that everything was great. Great breakfast buffet and having a sauna to use was really nice. Staff was friendly. Bed comfortable. Nice bathroom.

The Distinction Te Anau Hotel and Villa was located in a great location. The rooms were a bit outdated but they were very clean. There was no a/c but we did get a fan that was great and could cool us down at night. We used the laundry facilities. The food both breakfast and dinner was really good.

The villa option was a great way to be with family at a better cost that 2 rooms. More comfortable as well. I did 4 stars for condition ONLY because it's a bit older property and parts were a bit worn, but the rooms were impeccable as were the dining and other amenities. Perfect location as well.
