2/10 Poor

Did not end up staying there. Dirty lobby smelled like smoke. They couldn’t check mr in due to computer issues. Paid for a different hotel to not stay there. It looks abandoned from the outside.

2/10 Poor

Honestly, it's shocking to read the reviews that say the rooms here "match the photos." Our room did not. It was dingy and dark. The floors were dirty. The lighting was poor. There was an underlying odor of mold and cigarettes. Chips in the paint and plaster. Loose facet in the sink. There was a sack of garbage and about six empty microwave boxes stacked up outside our door, too. The ice machine in the "Vending / Ice / Coin Laundry Room" is half-dismantled, and when we asked for ice at the front desk, we were told it was in the chest cooler in the lobby..."with the body." This might have been funny if it didn't seem like a real possibility. Every time another guest opened or closed a door, the entire building shook. We could hear everything through the walls. We barely slept. I appreciate what the owners are trying to do here—and the location is good—but I think we would've had a better night's sleep in our car.

2/10 Poor

We were very disappointed with our room. Advertised as mountain view we had a cement wall in front of our room. I asked to change rooms and they said they could not accommodate us. There was no refrigerator or microwave as advertised. There was no ice as all ice machines were broken. At 2:30 am a large group showed up outside our door and proceeded to party loudly until about 5:30 am . The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. There is no night shift to monitor guest behaviour. It was an extremely uncomfortable night.

In town for one night
Price was right, though that was the extent of the stay. Bed was good, and they did an adequate make over of the facilities though didn’t go quite far enough.

Restored older hotel
An older hotel building, recently renovated. They did a good job on the renovation. Room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint would be the check in. They had just switched to a new system and did not know how to use it. They couldn't find my reservation. After about 10 minutes and a tech guy, they figured it out.

We loved the bed and room comfort. I would recommend a standing fan to better circulate the cool air all night. Outlets on both sides of the bed instead of one. Access to a microwave would be nice to have for heating leftovers. The size of the refrigerator was great and it had a small freezer for ice packs!
