The personnel were all very polite and helpful. The view of Volta Beach was gorgeous, and the room itself was trendy and pleasant.
On the downside, the only thing that turned us off was the road leading to the resort. It is a narrow, treacherous sand road with several bends.

A terrible stay all round
1. Access: no pre-warning that google maps does not lead you to the hotel but instead takes you on a 30 min detour, no pre-warning of the extremely treacherous road (steep hills, no signs, driving on the beach, no ability to perform a u turn safely), impossible to park the car safely
2. Room: offensive smell (that the staff did not seem to do anything about after complaining), no privacy due to our room being the thoroughfare from the parking to reception, no offer to change our room when we asked for a room that at least had the view that was advertised and we paid for.
3. Breakfast: the idea of breakfast in your own veranda may sound nice until you find out there is no menu and you have to pick on the spot from a very small selection that is verbally described to you. The excuse that this generates intimacy between guests and the hotel is a very poor excuse.
4. Powercuts: may be a local rather than a hotel issue but not acceptable not to have a generator if this is a recurring problem
5. Staff: polite but clearly experts at ‘playing dumb’ and trying to appease regarding issues that clearly are recurring
This may be a new hotel facing teething problems. We would’ve been much more forgiving had there been some motivation to address the issues that we raised at the time.

Negatives:
- No professional hotel staff. Everything on the property is done by 2 workers. There are no dedicated cleaners, cooks or receptionists. The two workers have good intentions but are not the type of professionals you'd expect to find in a 4 star hotel.
- Very inconvenient location. You must climb a very steep hill to get to the hotel from the beach. Anyone that is not young or in shape will have a very hard time with the climb. This hotel is not suitable for older people, people with health issues, or anyone requiring accommodations for mobility.
- Accessing the hotel by car is very difficult. It is not on any maps and you need to drive on the beach and up the steep hill you must climb by foot.
- Room was very cleaned. Many reviews mention that their room wasn't cleaned. They told us that they reason they never cleaned our room was because they don't have a master key and we should have left them the key. They never informed us of this when we checked in.
- The pool on our balcony was also never cleaned. There was sand and dead bugs in it making it unusable.
- There was a hole in the wall in our room and the electronic controls for the lights worked randomly. The resort is new and things are already breaking down and not being repaired.
- We could hear noise from the room next door. We heard the shouting and the baby crying.
Positives
- The reserved sun beds at the adjacent resort were nice.
- The view was nice.
- Water pressure was excellent.

Der Zufahrtsweg zum Hotel ist sehr schlecht - sehr eng und mit zum Teil hervorstechenden Armierungseisen auch gefährlich…
