It suited us for a 2 night stay, bit strange not having a window, but had everything we needed, shower was difficult to get in and out of the door as such a small bathroom and it could have been cleaner, one of our towels was dirty and we had to ask for more toilet rolls but staff very friendly and helpful and kept our luggage safe after checkout so we could could sightsee without cases

The staff were so friendly at the hotel, making us feel so welcome. The room was compact, but that is so typical of rooms in Paris and didn't cause us any issues. The room was clean and quiet, and within easy reach of public transport. I would definitely stay in this hotel on future visits to Paris.

It’s one of the best locations you could ask for. The hotel is clean. The family room is small but the beds were really comfortable and really that’s what counts. The staff also realized I did not request gluten free bread for breakfast and they made sure we had it for the rest of our trip.

1. Upsides: a. Great value b. Close to metro and 20 minutes (albeit boring) walk to Marais. c. Easy taxi drop off from airport. No waking required. Close to Gare du Nord too for Eurostar. Challenges: a. Difficult to sleep in the heat. Very weak air conditioning. No fans provided. Fans should be standard in high heat with poor air conditioning. b. Had to ask for 3rd towel everyday for 3-person, 3-night reservation. c. Didn’t accept cancellation with two months notice. d. Not an interesting neighborhood.

Everything is brand new, in fact they're still furnishing and carpeting some of the rooms. To save space, they've only provided half-sized towels and one tiny rubbish bin in the bathroom and no spare toilet paper, but I'm sure these are only teething issues that will be addressed with experience. All staff members have been pleasant and helpful.

Great location , walkable distance to many places and to the metro. It was my daughter’s birthday and the staff even brought balloons and some small gifts to decorate the room whilst we were out . The amenities are minimal but they have a beverage station where you can help yourself to coffee and tea throughout the day and have a croissant on the go .

Ok room but soap only for one shower in a room for three. At five in the night the AC started a terrible noise. No way to make it stop. I went down to the reception where the guy was snoring without noticing when the front door opened (!). His only answer to my complaint was Je ne sais pas. Don't book here!! I was charged twice for the same book, and they are unwilling to refund my first booking. I emailed the hotel 15mins after the error, and 2 months before the stay, and they blamed it on Expedia. Once Expedia made it clear that this hotel wasn't willing to refund, they ignored my reply. Be very careful, I would not take this chance to book at this place.

I booked a double room and the pictures advertised for the double room included and French balcony with a city view. However, the room I was placed in was not as pictured, it was smaller, older and did not have a city view. I raised this with the reception, and they said it was my fault for not asking for a view. However, from the way the Double Room was advertised, the room was not as pictured and there was no mention that there was no view which I found misleading for the price I paid. Reception advised me they have double rooms with and without a view and guests have to request in advance, and even then its not guaranteed cause it depends on what is available.

Jeg rejste alene, og havde brug for at bo et velbeliggende og hyggeligt sted - og République opfyldte det hele! Venligt og hjælpsomt personale, som hurtigt fik løst problemerne (hvis der var nogle). De har 24/7 reception, hvilket er utroligt ret når man er alene, fordi så ved man, er der er nogle der står klar til at hjælpe. Område var helt fantastisk - skal helt klart tilbage!!
