Own car park with 3 disabled bays. Friendly guy on checkin, i'd requested a quiet room, so it was facing the car park and not the A1. Very small bathroom with shower, there was a notice too, to keep bathroom door shut whilst shower is on, as steam can set the fire alarm off! Floor was sticky in bathroom and strands of previous occupants hair stuck to bottom of door. Very large kingsize bed, as it was 2 singles atrached. We booked DBB and went for evening meal at 8pm, only 1 other person in restaurant, no atmosphere. We paid £40 extra for dinner for the 2 of us on top of the BB rate, however when we were given the menu in the restaurant we were told it wasn't a set menu, just £18.50 each credit towards meal!!! No wonder the restaurant was empty and the other 100 gyests were dinning elsewhere. Breakfast wasn't much better and we saw alot if guests going across the road to the Premierinn for it. The hotel is in a good location and staff are friendly, but the restaurant and bar are pricey at £7 for a pint of guiness. My advice would be to go room only.
