It was fine. Staff friendly and relatively helpful. A little bit dated in bathrooms. Windows not air tight or noise tight (airport hotel!!). Quite drafty. Room fine otherwise. Public areas clean and tidy. Food was palatable. Beer a little flat (Rockshore & Moretti). Validated my parking ticket for free, which saved the day. Not much for kids to do. Busy bar. Probably good for a meeting / conference too.

On check in I was told that breakfast was included. When I got to the breakfast room I was very rudely told that it was not included in my room. I asked at reception and they only said that I shouldn't have been told this. Plans were made to get to the airport based on the expectation that breakfast was included and we had to skip eating as we didn't have time to stop somewhere else. The room was very much not 4 star. The bathroom was grimy, the bed was very obviously a Murphy bed, which was partially broken at the head. There were also no power outlets on either side of the bed so we had to leave our phones on the other side of the room to charge. The fixtures were very dingy and the only seating in the room deeply uncomfortable. Not at all the level of comfort or service you would expect from a so called 4 star hotel. Reached out to the management after the stay in hopes that they would offer some kind of compensation for the rude, shoddy treatment by members of staff after being lied to, but they only offered their apologies. I gave them a chance to avoid this review, but here we are.

Bad experience
Attended an event in the hotel and stayed over at the hotel the bed was very comfortable cleanliness of the room was soo high standard very impressed. However after the event we were looking for the residence bar in the lobby a good few of us were staying at the hotel. Which ended up being really uncomfortable and unsettling experience the hotel staff or security took a rather strict and abrupt approach to enforcing their rules, particularly late at night. While it’s not uncommon for hotels to enforce policies about non-guests in certain areas after hours, the tone and manner in which they addressed us and my colleagues made us feel passive-aggressive and overly authoritative by 5 men. (Which most of us were females) Being told there was no access to a residence bar—especially when it’s common in many hotels for guests to have a place to gather late at night. This kind of approach not only lacks hospitality but also created a rigid and unwelcoming atmosphere, which is not what guests typically expect from a hotel. We were asked to provide our names and what room number were we in. We felt invaded in the lobby and told to go to our rooms.

There was loud music until after 1am, making this a completely unsuitable hotel for anyone with an early flight the following morning. So rather frustrating, especially at the price point. All was fine otherwise, including the airport shuttle.

Hotel facilities are good. Food was quite poor. Sent my order back twice; firstly raw burger & replaced with wrong order. Normally service team would apologise for the inconveniences. Facilities are clean & of good standard. €20 for parking overnight is dubious. Food pricing is not of value. Experience did not meet expectations & 2nd Dublin hotel in a week that falls short of the mark. Again a food failure.
