What an incredible property. It was our first experience with "glamping" and it did not disappoint. The facilities are beautiful and the food at the restaurant was exceptional. Rumeysa and Matt were extremely helpful with any questions and so friendly.

We rented two tents (Bayberry) for five nights in mid-September. We were very pleased with the Terramor. The lodge was modern and well-staffed. The continental breakfast was terrific. We loved our tents--comfortable beds, nice bathroom, clean, etc. A nice change from a typical hotel room.

6/10 Good

The tent itself was very nice. It had a full bathroom with a toilet/running water/shower and heaters. The bed was very comfortable. Our tent specifically was located near to the busy road so you could hear the road noise. It isn’t isolated and the other tents were in close proximity. There is no way at all to lock the tent when you leave. We left for a hike and someone had gone into our tent and turned on the electric ceiling fan (by remote control) and ate (or just took) some of our food. We saw crumbs and pieces of food left on the porch. It definitely wasn’t an animal because they closed the empty box of food perfectly and left it right where we had it, rezippered the tent & redid the mosquito netting. They didn’t take any of our other belongings but we were so unsettled by the thought someone had been in there that we left a night early. You need to request housekeeping the day prior to when you want it so we know it wasn’t them just going in either. It might have been kids messing around but we felt too uncomfortable to stay and find out. The assistant manager at the front desk told us he never heard of anything like this happening before but he refunded us for the one night. We ended up leaving immediately and driving back to Boston very shaken up. I understand there are certain risks involved in camping but I feel that if you’re paying all this money there should be some method to lock up.

This was our second year staying at Terramor and we loved it again! The tents are huge and the bed is so comfortable. We had a fire each night and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

Wow! We absolutely loved our experience at Terramor. This resort provides all the conveniences, recommendations and services you need to explore Acadia and Bar Harbor, while still remaining completely connected to nature. For our first time in Maine, this was a gem of a find! We stayed in the Birch tent and it was perfectly outfitted and comfortable for myself and my 4 yo with a king separate bunk bed room that my brother actually took advantage of while joining us on this adventure. I was floored at how thoughtful the design of the tent was along with every touch in it! The main lodge was simply gorgeous and the food and drink offerings were such a nice variety… everything we had was flavorful, fresh and locally inspired. We decided to eat on resort twice rather than go out bc the food was that yummy (even had options for the little one!). Having a pool (and hot tub!) steps away from our tent was a definite win, and the location was so convenient for hiking spots and downtown BH! Can you tell we liked it? We are already talking about coming back! Special acknowledgment to Rumeysa (I hope I got that right!) at the front desk for loving on my little girl… she made a “best friend” for the week! Thanks for a great stay!

Great camping experience without the sleeping bags and community showers. Lovely wooded area with just enough amenities - everything is very well done, right down to the chopped wood for your firepit.

Wonderful hotel to stay in. The tents are perfect size, clear and all while being in the middle of nature. There are two sinks and 3 shower heads! Talk about a nice bathroom in the wood! The resort itself has a great pool and hot tub as well has fire pits and free breakfast. The staff are 10/10. They were incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable about the area.

4/10 Fair

This was not what we expected - it was not a tranquil stay. Our tent was close to route 102 which is busy all day and all night! As well as that we could hear kids play until 10 pm. We also expected a more grown up feel to the restaurant as they portrayed in the website but it’s casual with families and kids. We have nothing against kids (we have some too) but we didn’t expect it in this resort so just wanted to let others know. Considering it costs as much as staying at Four Seasons, we’re not convinced it’s good value.
