It was a really cute little cabin, rustic, but comfortable. Heater worked well during cold nights. Bathroom is a little small. We had a single unit, no shared walls. Very quiet and peaceful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Convenient store, gas station, and restaurant nearby. Pizza was good, didn’t try the more formal dining. Sunset views across the lake were breathtaking and a short walking distance. Don’t expect a fancy, upscale feel here, for a little more money you can have that elsewhere close by. I would definitely stay here again and save the money since we were more interested in hiking and outdoor activities than fine dining and luxury.

The location is great with restaurants that operate late. One bad thing is that there is no Wifi at the lodge.

6/10 Good

Rough stay
Although the natural surrounding was breathtakingly beautiful, the price of over $375.00 per night (we stayed two nights) cannot be justified. The log cabin was cute but had several maintenance issues starting difficulty unlocking the front door, windows that didn’t open/close, extremely tiny bathroom, even tinier shower where an average-sized person could not easily turn, shampoo/body wash dispensers that leaked and created a hazard on the shower floor, and shower leaked water onto the bathroom floor creating another safety hazard, seriously dirty cabin floors, no housekeeping services, no WiFi, no coffee maker, fridge or microwave available in the room or in the office, and more. It was a rough stay.
