Very convenient location, outside the main tourist traps but with a vibrant nightlife and options for eating out, cafes and bars, not to mention the bookshops and other shopping options. Very clean rooms, easy contactless access, kitchenette to prepare a light meal and warm drinks. It’s the third time we stay in this hotel in 12 months, it’s our main option for Athens.

We had a great stay at The Magenta Hotel. The hotel is a good size, the rooms are confortable, clean and with a nice coffee machine/little cute kitchen. The staff is very friendly and ready to answer the questions and to give us some information about places to go and to don't go!

Very pleasant stay throughout. Had troubles in entering the building and my room using electric key but was assisted remotely. Once got used to it, much easier without bothering anyone so could use the facility like my real apartment for a short stay. Very clean with all the necessary equipments. Nice surprising gift of a full bottle of white wine along with hand written message card. Highly recommend

The hotel was a great find. The front desk people were super friendly and very helpful. Check in and out was quick. The lobby was a great set up and had free waters and coffee. The rooms were extremely comfortable and up to date. The AC was amazing and the bed was great. Each room has a refrigerator, coffee maker with coffee, and a microwave. To get to some activity on the street you have to walk about 15 minutes, but the hotel and it's staff were amazing.

The hotel was called a completely different name. When I asked to print off my boarding pass for my flight the staff refused to help me and couldn’t recommend anywhere. Staff were shouting and arguing in the lobby. Not a good first impression. The room was lovely and clean!

Great studio-like rooms, with a lovely and well-thought-after design (the button near the bed shutting down all the lights is a genius idea that more hotels should implement), and really comfortable bedding: truly an unexpectedly great product for the price. The location is strategic with easy by-feet access to most of Athens city centre (do not be scared by the generally less-then-ideal state of the building in surrounding streets). Breakfast is not provided directly by the structure but it is available at a special cost in a nearby café; however, there is complimentary espresso and water available in the lobby plus an espresso-pod machine and a microwave in each room in case one should not want to go out for breakfast. Overall, a really great product.

Lovely little modern hotel about a 10 minute walk from the centre, with everything you need. Staff were always so friendly and rooms are so clean and modern. There's nice little touches like free bottled water in your room and downstairs, as well as free teas and coffee. They also left us wine in our room. If being super super picky, would say the towels are really small and a little tricky to wrap round. Another little thing was that the curtains didn't seem to be big enough for the room that light still came through in the night. But as I said, only small picky things. Would defo recommend!

The property feels more like a very small efficiency. The property did not have the means to accept credit cards which should have been told up front. We had to scramble to get together the Euros to pay as this was the end of our trip. This is the reason for the low service score. The elevator is very small so people should know that. It will fit two people and two bags and close.
