Looks are deceptive !!!
The below comments are provided based on comparable hotels with similar prime location advantages. From the outside the Hotel looks stunning....and it ends there. From the inside the hotel is tired and needs a serious uplift. It does have potential. The floor of the breakfast area was very sticky and lacked attention. The breakfast choices were mediorce and resembled hostel style living The room was tired and carpets worn. Observed internal painting was in progress. The approach to overall upkeep seems to be disjointed. May think twice about revisiting...noting that the surrounding area has limited choice and Rydes Esplande may have a monopoly.

Rip off for parking down the road
The parking we were told to use was 100 metres down the road and they charged us $60 for 36 hours in the car park. No other parking was made available to us when they clearly had onsite parking for some customers. Maybe they only send the Hotels.com customers to the car park down the road. They didn’t even offer to take our bags at the hotel door, we had to drag our suitcases down the road and then head back for the rest of our items. Not good enough, we should have been made aware of this additional cost and inconvenience!
