If you just need a bed…
If you just need a bed this place is fine but it’s not worth much else. Location is convenient to Winter Park and the shuttle is super easy. All in all though it’s not a great hotel.
Ian, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Older hotel with basic accommodations but allows dogs, close to the mountain and affordable. Only complaint is that the hot tub was cold. Otherwise exactly what we expected for the price.
Kristine, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

It's a pretty outdated facility that needs a lot of improvements. The staff was friendly overall.

Alex, Brian and everyone at the Hotel were amazing to me for my 2 week stay. Loved the restaurant too. I understand you all are going to make some updates. I would definitely do a paint and carpet freshen up

Don’t stay here
The pictures lie!! This hotel looks good but in person it is trashed. Restaurant is terrible, rooms are dirty, entire hotel smells.

Winter Park Lounge was clean, friendly, and in a great spot neat the resort. This is my go-to when I come back.
Sabrina, 1-night trip

It was disappointing that the hot tub was broken. Also there was no fitness center. Also the blankets were like sheets. I guess we could bring our own blanket…

Feels like a cheap hotel, but it’s not cheap.
This place is kind old and beat up. The staff were friendly and helpful, but it’s pretty clear the owners do not spend money to keep this place up.

Not so great
Pictures and advertising very misleading. Most workers don’t speak any English. Fireplace in our suite didn’t work. Very outdated and not maintained.
Cara, 2-night trip

Great low frills
If youre going with a pet, say its a service dog or get $35 extra a night (not horribly unfair just not mentioned in hotels.com bookings) Also eat on the mountain or in town, the in house is very limited and on the same price scale as a on mountain place. If you do bring a pet, please respect the snowmobile trails out back as they run 9-5ish and theres a blind turn you dont want to be on the wrong end of a collision with your pet. They seem like a great place to walk pookie hence my warning.
Colin, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Give it a go
Very nice staff, but under-staffed. Cute, old lodge. Hot tub was hot, bed was comfortable, and bus service is excellent!

Staff weee amazing, too Was definitely showing its age!
Kathleen, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

The hot tubs are cold and unable to be repaired in time for us to use. The indoor pool is cold which I would except to be warm considering it is indoors.

Going downhill, stayed here before…
Getting coffee was impossible (always out). The folks working there wanted to be in their phones more than work. We had a wookie come in and shampoo/bathe in the hot tub across from us. No on had filled the hot tubs in forever, jets did not work, and the pool was an ice bath.
Josh, 1-night trip

Very nice place and all the staff was very nice. Love it!

Service was great, the place it self was not. Had no towels staff was scrambling to wash and find towels, no toiletries in bathroom, hot tubs old and made water look green and dirty.
ricardo, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Just a dump. Especially for the price.
Horribly maintained and staffed hotel. Rooms and public areas are worn and in disrepair. Sheets are torn and worn out. Had to try two rooms due to lack of cleaning and then had to request missing towels. Have stayed at better Motel 6 discount hotels.
Michael, 1-night trip

Mostly disappointed
Stayed there 3 nights with the family for a ski trip. Really run down hotel. The front desk didn’t mention anything about not having room service each day so I just assumed they would come while we were skiing. Came back first day, nothing cleaned and no fresh towels. I asked them to come clean the room the next day and they said they would. After we got back the 2nd day still nothing done in our room. So we went the whole 3 days with no fresh towels or trash taken out. They had coffee downstairs for free but both times I went to get some they were out. No bottle water for sale but they do have a few other small items.
Nick, 3-night trip

It is an awesome place but it need some maintenance clean up of snow on the entrance, is so much snow, got stock in and out the hotel
ERICK, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Hotel is very close to Winter Park, but because of the shuttle route it still took a while to get to the resort. And you can’t walk. The hot tub was disappointing, luke warm not hot. Probably would not stay here agai .
Samantha, 1-night trip

It’s fine if you just need a bed
Blankets on bed were too thin. The lights in room needed new bulbs. Had to call for essentials such as toilet paper. The restaurant on-site did not have a working kitchen. The pool was freezing.
Christina, 2-night trip

The place to stay.
Mark, 1-night trip

Had to deal with a barking dog in the room next to us that kept us awake all night.
Ken, 1-night trip

Do not stay here! It's a scam!
Do not stay here under any circumstance! No bath towels, no soap, no wash cloths, no housekeeping, no blanket on bed, no service (understaffed), no manager on site, only one coffee in the room for 2 people. This was the most ridiculous hotel experience my wife and I have ever had in our lives! We met others that had the same experience if not worse! This place should be shut down!
David, 2-night trip
