The 9th Arrondissement is a perfect location. You really feel like you’re experiencing Parisian life as a local, while still having easy access to the city centre towards and across the Seine. ie. there’s a bus stop right outside the hotel, and Blanche Metro Station is just up the road. It’s a great neighbourhood, with plenty of excellent restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, with lovely touches inspired by Kipling’s travels, and it is exceptionally clean. We stayed in a Superior Room, which had top views. As it was summer, more people were out in the evenings, so you can expect some street sound — but for me, that’s part of the charm and the experience of city life! The staff are absolutely wonderful and conversational, and deliver a truly high level of hospitality. A 4-star gem. Book if available. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved the location! This hotel was very charming and close to several metro lines, coffee shops, and MANY food and shopping options. We were not aware that the hotel was under construction, but we had fairly minimal impact due to the construction. The staff were helpful in finding solutions (no hot water for a period of time) and communication (carpet laying occurring for a few hours). Overall an excellent experience!

Our stay was great. Carol at the front desk was amazing. Helped us drop off our luggage before checking in (and we had a lot, it was 2 families). She was helpful with recommendations and so kind. The hotel was nice, our room fit our family of 4. The hotel breakfast was pretty good too. Overall, we loved it.

The staff were amazing and very helpful! They arranged taxis for us and there was always water and some baked goods available. The breakfast was really nice and loved the atmosphere. The hotel was clean with a lot of amenities (just ask if you don't see it!) and the location was perfect for day trips using the subway or even walking. Would stay there again!

The hotel was absolutely lovely, local area is one of my favourites in the city and the staff were amazing. The only thing was that the hotel is currently under renovations so there were small changes (portable heaters in rooms and physical keys rather than key cards) that were obviously outwith the hotel’s control- overall i’d recommend! merci beaucoup!!

To be honest, the location of the hotel is really great and the building actually as well but there is no air-conditioning and if there is like 31°C outside, you can imagine how hot it is in the 15 m² room. The room was very very, very small. I had the feeling that the shower was bigger than the room. I booked a room with the balcony. The balcony was great, but. I booked a room with the balcony. The balcony was great, but the heat was unbreakable. The heat was crazy. 200 bucks was to much bro
