Dirty and In Need of Repair
We arrived to find the pool and hot tub were being repaired. We booked this hotel for the amenities. The room we were give was dirty with the bathroom door falling of the hinges. We will never stay here again and would Not recommend this hotel to anyone.

An Average Room
My stay was just okay. It was an average room with no microwave. The bathroom was pretty small and decent. The bed only had sheets on it and no real covers. My pillows were very average. They said they were remodeling so I couldn't go to the exercise room. If you're looking for a decent room to sleep in with no frills and an average cost, this might work for you.

Tried to tack on extra charges
Wanted to give this hotel a better rating but after my stay they tried to charge me for bottled water that I didn't use. The hotel itself was okay - reasonably priced for San Diego, relatively quiet and comfy rooms if a bit dated and lacking a microwave, and a diner with good food and excellent service right on the premises. Wifi didn't work though and the pool and jacuzzi were closed but the real insult was finding a charge for two bottles of water that was tacked on after I checked out. I was in town for a cycling event and had my own drinks so I didn't touch the bottled water in the room after seeing the tag saying I'd be charged for them. Had to call multiple times and play phone tag with the unhelpful staff to get the charge removed. Long story short, the hotel is passable if there aren't other reasonably priced alternatives but be wary of them trying to fleece you.

Do not recommend
I wouldn’t recommend this place. Things were very outdated , towels were stained, electrical sockets were half out of the wall hello fire hazard. The only good thing about this place was free parking. That’s the only thing. Mold in the roof in the restroom, no bag in the trash cans or a bag to use for them, fridge was left open so wasn’t cooled and couldn’t use it, pillows were very flat, bedding is thin. The worst hotel stay I’ve had in awhile.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever
The reason why I stayed here is bc I’ve stayed here on 2 different occasions (years ago) and had no problems. After checking in, we went out to get dinner and came back. As I entered the room, I noticed a flying insect (which was not a moth). As we settled in, we noticed ants as well as killed another insect. The flying insect went under the bed so I was not able to get it. I called the front desk (which by the way the phone wasn’t working so I had to use my cell phone). They were not accommodating. All they offered was to spray the room which I would have to leave for a few hours (how inconvenient as it was also raining out) but I declined since I had 2 small children with me. They would not give me another room. I did not pay to sleep in an environment like this. I checked out within 2 hours of checking in and the front desk girl was extremely rude and did not apologize for the inconvenience. They would not give me my money back. I will never be staying here again.

It was okay for a overnight stay , remodel woke us up the next morning. All rooms are motel style, enter from the outside. If you want something a little nicer spend the money and stay elsewhere. But ok for overnight affordable stay.
