"Having read previous reviews we were rather worried about we would greet us on arrival however: - we had a nice room on the 1st floor. Water pressure wasn’t great but if you started the shower 5 minutes before you needed it the. The water was nice and hot. - staff were very friendly, helpful and eager to please. - we ate at the hotel (US$45 each) as there weren’t any other options in Cerro Castillo. The 3 course evening meal (we had a choice of 2 dishes) was very nice. - Breakfast (coffee, cheese and ham) was good. There were other options (cakes, cereal and yoghurt) that we didn’t try. - There was no Wifi in our room. Overall if you need a stop over in Cerro Castillo then don’t be put off by all the reviews. That said the cost at US$250 per night is expensive and certainly not value for money."

"Amazing property, maintained well given the location. Staff were great and hospitable. Nicolas at the front desk provided some good tips about the area. Breakfast had good nutritious meal. Can’t ask for more in that area. "

"Once away from Puerto Natales price increased hugely as you go towards Torres de Paine as you otherwise need to drive 2.5 hrs each way to get to park and if hiking it’s not ideal. This place was a perfect option as it was full board so they provided an excellent local and high end meal for dinner and very good breakfast. We had to go early so they made us a packed breakfast and you also get a packed lunch. The quality of domes was excellent and do body. Staff were excellent and only negative was I wished we had stayed an extra night. Book early to avoid disappointment. Just around an hours drive to Yorres de Osine park gates. "

"Staff were welcoming, and it’s a wonderful setting. We loved the communal lounge areas, these were perfect to relax in after a long day hiking. Log fires were an added bonus! Buffet was so much better than expected, as pescatarians we felt there was plenty for us. Lots of variety as well. "

"Fundamentally this hotel has a lot to offer in terms of its location, and the bed was comfy / restaurant was decent, but overall we were very disappointed with the rooms, which are basically portakabins with super thin walls, cracked floorboards, lukewarm showers and no charm. The restaurant staff were all pretty unfriendly too. By far the worst value for money of anywhere we stayed in Patagonia. "
