It’s a historic hotel right on the beach, but what really set this property apart was the staff. They noticeably went above and beyond, even compared to some of the higher end hotels in South Beach. The pool area had an especially great vibe, with a DJ every day and plenty of activities. My only complaint was that the bathroom was a way too small. Overall, though, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again.

We arrived very early in the morning, many hours before our check-in time. The staff at the front desk was very kind and friendly and checked us into a room so that we could get some rest. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as represented in the pictures. The pool was great, location was almost ideal. Hundred percent would stay again in the future.

Overall, the property and the staff were wonderful. The location is excellent, and the proximity to the beach made our stay even better. As of June 2026, the property appears to be undergoing some extensive remodeling, but the noise and ongoing work did not affect our stay in any way. My partner and I enjoyed our stay and found the rooms to be modern and comfortable. The only thing I’d note is that, although the cleaning team came by every day, the bathrooms could use a more thorough deep clean.

Overall we had a great stay at this hotel. I enjoy the smaller intimate layout, the large pool and patio area with bar, and easy access to the beach path. The one drawback from our visit was the fact that the gym was closed for renovation. They were providing day passes to a nearby gym, but that was not super convenient, and also the gym did not have towels or self locking lockers (you needed to have a lock) so for the average hotel guest those are inconveniences.

I having been going to this hotel for the last 10 years. The customer service is fantastic and the location is excellent! My family grew up over the years, swimming in the pool and eventually sharing a drink with us. There has been a recent renovation to the outdoor bar area, and it’s a great place to take a break from the sun and have a drink and lunch!! Can’t wait to go again.

The staff (all departments/areas) was GREAT, very kind, and helpful. I had made an error in my reservation via 3rd party site and called the hotel to ask if I can add an extra night. The front desk staff was able to accommodate my request and stated that it would be charged separately, but I would stay in my same room for the 4 days, 3 nights I was there. Thank you!! The beach was very accessible. You literally walk out the back of the hotel and the beach was right there. The pool was great as well. It was clean and access to pool towels was quick and easy. Loved that it opened early at 8am for a quick morning swim. The block/street this hotel is located on had lots of different restaurants to choose from and was about 5 minutes walk from Lincoln Road. Further from the boardwalk but still busy with plenty of options to choose from. A couple of downside to this hotel was, that I missed the hotel a few times because I couldn't see the (white) hotel sign and kept driving past it. Maybe, get a darker, bigger sign and/or put it up a little higher, above the bushes. The hotel restaurant food was good, but I didn't expect to be charged $14 for a small glass of orange juice. All in all, I would definitely stay here again.
