We stayed on Christmas Day. Receptionist was clearly not happy to see us. There were no tea bags in the room, the telephone didn’t work, and the shower was very low pressure.

Whole hotel needs either a good clean or refurbishment. Corridors are grubby, rooms okay but mould in the bathroom and only half hearted attempts made by cleaners when they actually serviced the room.

The staff were great - very helpful. However the room was poor - basic, very tired and a weird smell. The bathroom smelled of damp and the lino in the bathroom was discoloured and bubbled.
