Completely happy with our family stay here. Loved our kitchenette, supplied with pots, pans, utensils and everything you need. CVC is next door for an quick gets, The Garden Cafe inside the second towel of he State Plaza was nice, friendly and cozy place to eat with good food. The State Plaza Hotel was close a very short ride or a good 15-30 minute walk to the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, WWII Memorial, and restaurants near by.

Great hotel! Staff were all friendly and helpful, room was large with a kitchen area, and everything was very, very clean. I WILL stay here on future visits to DC! It's an older building but everything was very clean and well taken care of. Fantastic location! In a quieter area of DC, seems like a very safe neighborhood, but still 3 or 4 blocks to White House, Nat'l Mall. Cpl coffee places nearby, restaurants, a couple bars, and a Whole Foods a few blocks around the corner if you'd rather make your own food.

Walkable to everything- The Mall, The Kennedy Center, George Washington University student union. Take the metro from Dulles airport and it’s an easy 15 min walk with rolling luggage. No need to rent a car. Safe at night, great for families or solo travelers.

It was an unexpected overnight trip, and I was pleasantly surprised to find this exceptional gem of a hotel- last minute. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and displayed decorum as well as professionalism. The staff at the Garden Café was nothing short of sublime. Definitely staying again next time I'm in DC.
