I enjoyed my two nights stay at this hotel with my parents very much. The reception team was very professional and friendly, accommodating my requests as much as possible. Despite the slightly dated interior design and furniture, the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I would consider staying here again in the future.

Was travelling by car when I stayed here, and the parking outside the hotel was free, which is a huge win for the hotel! Other than that the room was nice and comfortable. Exactly what I expected from any Novotel I have ever stayed in.

Great location and comfortable.

Large room, which was quiet at night. Fridge in room was useful. Great location - easy walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Bonus that there were on street parking that was free of charge (this does depend if there is space when you arrive, we were lucky). Only negative is the blummin hairdryer in the room, so old, would be great if they were updated.

Tobacco smell in bathroom

Otherwise hotel was OK, but the bathroom had horrible smell. It smelled like someone had smoked there. Clearly the cleaners noticed the issue as they had left the bathroom door open every morning to clear out the smell. This made the situation even worse as the smell then spread to other room. Location is very convenient for Messe visitors. Breakfast was good.

Room was clean, staff helpful. Breakfast variety was good. One of the nights only offered a buffet and not the normal menu which wasn't what I wanted but the food did look good - not wanting the buffet gave me the opportunity to try and Ethiopian restaurant "Black Lion" which was really good and decent value. My main issue was the "gym" which was very disappointing. Way too small. Sauna was nice but required notice to switch on which was ok.
