The hotel is very nice and clean inside. However, upon our arrival, the staff is very nonchalant. I felt like just another tourist who had checked into hotel. Nothing special no warm welcome no hello. In the following days we need a taxi to get to the various tours that we had planned my partner, a female requested a taxi from the desk clerk, and he virtually ignored her. Then I stepped up and requested that the clerk orders a taxi, and he immediately went to his computer and did so.
The exact same thing happened the next day, my partner a female requested a taxi, and the clerk virtually ignored her again. So then I requested a taxi and again the clerk went to his computer and ordered one. My partner was not happy about the way she was treated and ignored and expressed her feelings to the clerk.
She basically related to the clerk that she felt ignored because she was a female, but when A man stepped up, Whatever his request was immediately considered.
The clerk then canceled my request for a taxi and we had to go outside and flag one down ourselves.
We decided to cut our trip short and return back to the United States. On the day we decided to leave there was a female clerk working at the front desk as well. She was absolutely amazing. I give that woman five stars, had a nice smile, she arranged the transportation for us to the airport And was extremely pleasant.
We checked out of the hotel three days early and were billed over thousand dollars as a no-show .
