9 Great Restaurants in Phan Thiet and Mui Ne

Sandals Kitchen and Bar is an all-day dining venue within Sailing Club Resort Mui Ne. Great for casual lunches by day and romantic dinners by night, it offers an array of authentic Asian and Western dishes in a tranquil seaside setting. Jibe’s Suoi Nuoc is set along Full Moon Village Phan Thiet’s private beachside. The 2-storey restaurant is fitted with traditional Vietnamese architecture, cosy cushioned seats, and a breezy terrace overlooking the East Sea. 

Food-wise, we highly recommend the full English breakfast, Thai-style hotpot, and black pepper tenderloin steak. Vegetarian options include Vietnamese tofu salad, fresh spring rolls, and pan-fried tofu with tomato sauce. Due to its beachside location, windsurfing, sailing, and kitesurfing equipment are available for rent at Jibe’s Suoi Nuoc.

Breeze Restaurant & Bar at Mui Ne Hills Bliss Hotel offers a luxurious dining experience with expansive views of Mui Ne Bay. The restaurant is illuminated with fairy lights and traditional lamps, with chilled-out tunes playing in the background and comfortable seats set around Mui Ne Hills Resort’s swimming pool.

Restaurant Sukhothai at Sunsea Resort Mui Ne is well-frequented for its fine-dining ambience, warm hospitality, and high-quality food and beverage menu. The open-air restaurant overlooks the resort’s infinity pool and Mui Ne Beach, making it a good place to unwind after a day of exploring Phan Thiet. 

Sukhothai specialises in authentic Thai cuisine, with standout dishes such as seafood green curry, stir-fried fish fillet with 5 spices, fried noodles topped with pork and shrimp, eggs, peanuts and garlic. There’s also a selection of Vietnamese, Indonesian, and European dishes, along with coffee, tea, cocktails, beers, and imported wines by glass and bottle.

Forest Restaurant, also known as R’ung Forest, occupies a rustic-looking building along Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, about a 10-minute drive from the Po Shanu Cham Towers. Featuring a tropical garden setting with fish ponds and bamboo water fountains, the restaurant interior is decorated with colourful tribal art, masks, textiles, wooden carvings, and statues. 

There are over 100 dishes at Forest, ranging from Vietnamese hotpots, grilled seafood, and western fare to exotic dishes such as turtle, ostrich, and crocodile meat. You also usually get a complimentary handwoven bracelet after dining here.

Thung Bar & Grill is a beachfront restaurant offering Mui Ne specialities, grilled seafood, and steaks, all paired with tropical cocktails and exquisite wines. With expansive ocean views and elegant interiors, this restaurant at Anantara Mui Ne Resort attracts mainly foreign travellers and affluent locals looking to dine in style. 

Signature dishes include chargrilled Phan Thiet scallops and green lip mussels, Black Angus tenderloin steak, and steamed lobster. For drinks, we highly recommend the Anantara’s Delights milkshake, which consists of banana, coconut, passion fruit, and fresh milk.

Deja Vu Restaurant & Bar has an extensive food menu and vibrant setting, coupled with traditional, jazz and rock music performances. Set along Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, the restaurant is fitted with an indoor dining section, a rooftop shisha lounge, an art room with pool tables, a tropical garden with a children’s playground, and a spacious patio for barbecues. 

Diners can enjoy burgers, pasta, seafood, salads, and soups, as well as exotic dishes such as snacks, scorpions and dishes featuring crocodile meat. Deja Vu often offers a 3-course lunch menu between noon and 2 pm.
