It's location for the price paid was great!! Rhe view from my 3rd floor room towards the resort area was awesome! The hotel is still being updated and expanded. There being one elevator and small size wasn't appealing. However, their free breakfast and pool were nice! This hotel has a lot of potential when the updates are completed. I can't wait to stay there again.

Ave Inn has a great location as it is in the center of all entertainment. I visited Mazatlan with my wife and we found that most of the places were within walking distance. Customer service was on point. If I can complain about something, maybe upgrade the showerhead? Minor in my opinion. Overall met expectations and would definitely select for a future stay. There was breakfast included but didn't take advantage of.

You get to the lobby from the parking garage. The staff was very slow. First day on job maybe? The room was very nice but the A/C was awfully loud. The included breakfast didn't open until 8:00AM. Way to late for us since we are traveling.

Up an coming hotel in Zona Dorada. Clearly not yet established, and needs lots of doing. Check in was a breeze, and called in ahead of time for early check in at 11am. Upon arrival we had to program our own remote control, and the rooms were smaller than planned. The cleaning was great, no hot water running at all, and the pool was amazing. Breakfast was sooo delicious but uncoils use more variety other than machaca, eggs, and the famous chilaquiles. If you want to get an ocean view, make sure you opt for any floor with number 5 -9 (example third floor room 305-309 are all ocean view). No fridge made it hard to keep drinks cold and ocean access is just steps away near Holiday Inn. Overall, great staff, crappy hotel but sure to make an upcoming once all the little mistakes are fixed

AC only in rooms, no AC around the hotel or even in the elevator, it only has one elevator for the entire building. The hotel was still under construction on the back part so don't know if this was the reason. Also in some rooms, you have to leave your key in a thing next to the door so the light and ac activate inside the room. But if you take your room key out after 5 min everything shuts off. So, we had to get an extra key which you have to pay for and they will refund you when you leave so so you can leave that key in the room so the ac keeps running when your leave the room. Other than that the room are clean and nice. The staff if you ask for anything they will give it to you.

Awful hotel! Left with several bed bug bites. Remote for TV didn't work. No ice. No kleenex in bathroom. Faucet in bathroom was loose and the counter top by the faucet was cracked. Electrical outlet was underneath the desk--who does that? plus no electrical outlet covers. Had to crawl under the desk to plug in our laptop. TV screen was about the size of my laptop screen. No desk light. Hallway window was left open with no screen the entire time we were there. Elevator was small and very slow. Not enough parking spots. A lot of the parking spots were consumed with storage and there was a huge hole in the floor that a car tire could have fell into. Quite unfortunate as all of the staff were wonderful.
