I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience with the reception staff. During my check-in, which was handled by two Indian gentlemen, I was pleasantly surprised by how kind and welcoming they were, despite it being past 11 pm. They made me feel right at home, and I started my stay on a high note.
However, my experience took a turn when I interacted with the female receptionists. I reported a leak in the bathroom sink, expressing my concern about water waste, and their response was far from what I expected. They were unfriendly, didn’t smile, and made me feel uncomfortable as if they were upset that I reached out to them. They said they would report the issue, but when I returned to my room after 10 hours, nothing had been done. I had to call the reception again, and only then was someone sent to fix the problem within 10 minutes.
This contrast in service was stark. Besides the two Indian gentlemen, none of the other staff I encountered seemed friendly or approachable, which left a sour taste in my experience. Because of this inconsistency in customer service, I don’t think I’ll be staying at this hotel again. Customer service is key, and unfortunately, it was lacking here.
