The staff was excellent. They were warm, friendly, helpful, and very responsive to any concerns I had. The property is just so-so. At times, there was little or no water for showering. There was hammering/banging somewhere in/next to the hotel at 2 o'clock in the morning that made sleep impossible or a few occasions. Plus, hotel repairs during the day made the place very noisy. The lack of amenities such as shower soap/gel or other toiletries just left a lot to be desired.The hotel's beach location is excellent, but this is not a place that I would return to.

Quite til the Cruise Ships arrive!
Very nice staff. Excellent housekeeping. English was a barrier but got by. No pool or roof top patio as in pics. Beach across the Malecon was good however you do get pestered by the “Beach Mafia”. Guys after you all day to rent their old tattered chairs and umbrellas. Not associated to hotel but right at your door. Get the ocean view suite!

Hotel is in a very nice location for exploring the beach, restaurants, shops, and view is incredible from Oceanside rooms. The rooms are very basic and there isn’t an elevator, although I did get help with my luggage up the fifty steps to my room. It’s an affordable choice for an amazing view!

Really nice place near the beach front. Near by places to eat. Receptions really nice and held our bags until it was time to checkin. A little noisy at night, don't recommend if your looking for getting good sleep. They really stick by check in time, don't go earlier. This hotel is not like other hotels in area that allow you to check in a little earlier. Here it 3pm exactly. The sheets and towels had yellow stains, which made it feel dirty. They do charge an extra fee for stained sheets and towels. Which is not stated on expedia. We brought stains to receptions and they were gladly to exchange them. The place could use a little remodeling. Overall great room, service and location. Personnel was nice.

Hotel was clean, location is perfect. Right on Progresso malecon. Lots of great restaurants and bars. Convenience store next door.Hotel has a great view of the ocean, pick room 6. Be aware no elevator, only tiny blankets if you ask for them. AC was great. Shower was very slippery as well as all floors. I used an old T-shirt for shower mat. Water quality was good. Visit Crabsters restaurant. Worth a visit!

Good beach hotel
The staff is friendly and professional, and the property is relatively clean. Wifi was great and, you can flush the toilet paper (not always the case in Mexican hotels). However, there is no elevator, so you will get some exercise walking up the stairs. They do not provide washcloths or hair conditioner, but both can be purchased at the local supermarket. They still use keys with a keychain that states the name of the hotel and the room number; if someone finds the key... Keypads with constantly changing codes are a better alternative. The hotel is right on the Malecon (boardwalk), right on the beach, and close to the restaurants. I enjoyed my stay and recommend Hotel Playa Linda with the caveat that there is no elevator.
