Technology run amuck
The crazy thermostat would blow cold air at 4am no matter that we charged from AC to heat before going to bed. A sleep alarm device without controls I could find went off at 6 am two mornings. There is no business center and the elevators are slow.

Great stay, great location!
The location is perfect, it’s not directly in Times Square so it’s not chaotic around your hotel but everything is only a 5 min walk, the subway, Times Square, Hell’s Kitchen, Columbus circle etc. the room was a good size and bathroom appears to be remodeled recently. Great stay!

Disaster - Worst experience & horrible treatment!
While I was showering with shampoo and soap on my body the water stopped for no reason. I was standing in the shower all covered with soaps and no water. I decided to wait for the water to start up again and that was a huge mistake. When the water started it came out blasting dark brown with black and brown particles of some kind of debris materials and before I could shut off the water I was soaked with water pollution. My wife grabbed the two bottles of water that if you drink them cost $3 each and I used them to rinse my head and eyes. I used 4 other bottled waters and barely was able to rinse off the polluted water. The sink also had polluted water and so did the toilet. I used towels to dry and they were brown and black. My wife didn't shower and we left the Hilton to catch a plane out of JFK. I was promised that a manager would call me on the day this happened and no call. I was then told a manager would call us the next day when we returned home, and no call. To this day the manager has not called me. I got sick when I returned home and it took 3 showers at home and 24 hours to recover. I then I received a bill for the 2 waters I didn't use to drink but needed to rinse my eyes. It was for $6. I spent almost $2,700 on 6 nights and the manager didn't call me and billed me for bottles of water that I needed to rinse off. This was so unprofessional on so many levels. The old hotel proved to me that they have water problems and when it impacts a guest they do not care.

The hotel is in a great location. Lots of eating options in the area and the subway line is very close. This is my third time staying at this hotel. The negative thing worth mentioning is the wait time to get an elevator.

Nice hotel, quiet and comfortable beds. Staff friendly. Good location for theater visits and walking. A little further from subway than expected. Room small but comfortable, could use more lighting especially around the closet area. Several elevators but still had to wait several minutes during peak times.

The lifts were terrible would sometimes wait 15 mins to go to your room they were ever so slow
