Fantastic as well as the owner of the hotel
Me and my Family of 6 with 4 kids has no booked or anything we just arrived from our trip from NY out of desperation we ask the guy in the front desk to give us any rooms for my family surprisingly he was the owner of the hotel with only cash in my hands he make sure give us two rooms for my Family without hesitations . We are very happy in our stay my kids told that Meco hotel was their favourite because they have their own bed😄 hotel staff was very helpful and friendly of course the owner was amazing I owed him a lot for doing us a really huge favor! We will be back for sure and recommend this hotel for my friends!

Great little hotel with the perfect location and s
The hotel location was very convenient, few minutes walk from the TD garden and subway/traij station.
We took a 4 bunk beds room with a private bathroom and while pretty small, it was as advertised. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean.
The staff was very kind and helpful and for the price, we believe it's worth staying in the hotel.
Parking is a challenge as it's very pricey but the staff recommended using a website spothero.com which allowed us to find a spot for the few days we were there.

NEVER EVER again.
NOT secure, even a little bit. Nobody at desk most of the time, they question nobody getting in elevators. Bathroom was not clean, showers had crud in the grout. I came in during the day, maids were cleaning and had placed dirty soiled linens from bed she was making on my bed, which i found cringe. Pillows were flat like crosswalk paint, 10$ charge to rent another pillow.

Absolutely terrific
Solo female traveler for the first time and it was absolutely amazing. The staff was adorable and very helpful. I was cold on the first night they added an extra blanket the next day and adjusted the room temperature. The bathrooms are shared. I was absolutely horrified I had to share them with everyone but they were spotless every day. The hotel is a few minutes away from downtown. I will come back once I'm in Boston again :-)

Looked nice but bit inconvenient
I've stayed in hostels many times in the past. This one is clean, has nice location, and staff is kind. However, a lot of things felt inexperiencely run. Like many pointed out, it needs more shelves and hooks. Staff need to be trained more. Curtains and blinds need some kind of noise cancelling measure. Also some rooms are filled with 17 beds... in one room! If one person snores, 16 people are out of sleep. Also, there is no kitchen or fridge. That was a big minus for me. The bed was good.
I wouldn't stay again.

The Meco Hotel was just what I needed - a comfortable and affordable place to overnight during a flight layover. The beds were comfortable and I liked the system with a shade pull down and individual control over light and airflow inside. The bathroom was modern and spotless. My suggestion would be to upgrade the locking system for the storage locker, but it was great to have somewhere to store stuff right under the bed. All in all, great!

Different experience that may not be for everyone. I stayed in one of the pods for three days there was plenty of room, storage for my two suitcases was plenty under your bed with a combination lock and you have a pull down privacy screen I stayed in room 601 pod 1 and everyone did a good job of being as quiet as possible. The shower facilities were quite clean good water pressure and plenty of hot water plenty of clean towels also everyone in the room was polite and the staff was friendly. For me and at $98 a night it worked quite well and if I go to Boston again i would stay at Meco again. I used the "T" and the buslines quite a bit and the North station is one block from the Meco so that was an added bonus. Get the daily pass Charlie card for $11 and you can ride the buses and the subway for 24 hours usually expect to pay $2-$3 for a oneway subway ride

Friendly service. Great for one night or a layover
Excellent service. Only complaint was for what you get (a single bed in a dormitory full of shared beds) it was pricy. Only a few bathrooms for everybody on the floor and not enough towels to go around.showers needed to be cleaned better. Mold on shower tiles.

The owner was very dedicated and working long shifts, you could tell he cares about running a good business. It was clean and felt very safe and was one block from the North station which is a premium location! Great for quick visits, anyone on a budget or looking for somewhere no fuss or frills!

Great concept/idea. Beds and facilities are made very cheaply and close together with few comforts or privacy. Unfortunately, my stay was further disturbed by VERY loud snoring with little to prevent noise. Bathroom facilities are poorly made and difficult to use. Price was nearly the same as a full hotel room so few benefits to stay. Great location though!

I had never stayed in a pod hotel before, but i stayed in hostels in Europe years ago. This is a hostel on steroids. Comfy bed, extra pillows when asked, coffee in am, endless clean towels, wonderful shower, safe place for bags, your own climate control. Very nice, thanks.

As described, these are shared rooms where each person has their own bunk/pod. In the larger rooms, people are coming and going so definitely bring earplugs. But the rooms and pods are clean and well-maintained. The staff were great. There is coffee in the morning. Very convenient location for the price.
