Bad Services at the breakfast
The breakfast are horrible. On Saturdays Sundays, and the Tuesdays you only got the biscuits and gravy as hot breakfast. The African-American lady with the glasses on, especially very rude. She refused to give second biscuit to a gentleman. She’s loud and disrespectful. I don’t understand why the hotel let those kind of people working there. This lady was laughing at people who request two biscuits. She talked very loudly and not pay attention to what she was doing. They don’t offer oatmeal's and eggs everyday. I would not come back again to this hotel. The services are horrible. Very bad experience at the breakfast. We traveled a lot and stayed in many hotels. This is the worst experience we’ve ever had. Please choose another hotel if you don’t want to be treated badly.

Needs to clean the rooms and check for check outs
There deposit is more than any other La Quintas by a lot like two hundred dollars. Just stayed at on in Spokane Washington and it’s deposit was $50. Not understanding the difference. Plus there was tooth paste on the towel holder so I’m not sure they done a really great and sanitizing cleaning! And house cleaning knocked on our door at 8 in the morning without a check out.

Check-in was quick, the room was clean but the bathroom floor was not mopped & it didn't have extra toilet paper rolls. We are a family of 3, stayed for 7 nights (From a Tuesday to a Tuesday), during those 7 nights our room was only cleaned once! On our second night, I asked a lady who was cleaning our floor when our room will be cleaned she said "Friday or Saturday". I asked the front desk for clean towels on Friday morning, they said our room will be cleaned on that day. When we came back the room was not cleaned, we didn't have clean towels and ran out of toilet paper. So we called front desk, they were surprised that our room was not cleaned & connected with housekeeping who claimed that "do not disturb sign" was at the door. We never leave that sign since we are always out of the room by 8am. I asked front desk for clean towels & a toilet paper roll. On Saturday morning, I called front desk to make sure the room was going to get cleaned, at this point we were out of everything. The room got cleaned on Saturday, but they didn't replace the empty tissue box. On Monday morning, I called front desk to ask for clean towels & was told that our room was going to get cleaned that day. In the evening upon our arrival, the room was not cleaned so called front desk who were confused with the cleaning schedule, I asked for clean towels, cups, & a toilet paper roll. I can't believe staying in a hotel room for 7 nights & it gets cleaned only once & had to go through this hassle

Very poor breakfast.
The breakfast was very poor. First day there was no place to sit. Second and third day they did not offer the waffle to decrease the sitting time. They then third day, they pulled the scramble egg from the hot breakfast and replaced by pork gravey with disrespect to all people who do not eat meat or pork The gym was good Internet was good

It's just okay.
Too expensive for what you get. 1. Mechanical noises throughout the night (strange door locking noise, fridge, radiator vents, etc) 2. Water in the shower did not get hot. I don't hot showers and even I felt cold in the shower. 3. Stopper on the bathroom door was broken 4. Temperature in the room was not easy to change 5. Temperature in the room was not maintained. It would be cold, then hot, then cold again. 6. Breakfast was normal continental. Not good. 7. Location is downtown. However, everything (coffee places, chipotle,etc) was closed on the weekends and restaurants were crazy expensive. Stay outside of the city center and you will have a better time in Chicago. I read the reviews and thought this would be a nice place. As someone that stays in hotels very often, this place is 3 out of 5 stars and I would not repeat. You can do better.

Perfect Downtown Chicago Stay!
This hotel was an excellent choice for our visit to Chicago! The location was unbeatable—just two blocks from the blue line train to and from the airport, Millennium Park, and other top tourist spots. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond by holding our bags after checkout for just $5 per bag, which made exploring the city so much easier. A special thanks to Kara for the stellar recommendations! We loved indulging in authentic Chicago-style popcorn and hotdogs—don’t miss trying them while you’re here! Overall, a fantastic stay. Highly recommend!
