Was okay
The rooms were very basic and beds are very low to the ground the rooms were very clean and tidy. The room was nice and warm with the opportunity of air conditioning if needed. Service was very poor and slow and no help especially with it being a first time staying at this hotel and Also no guidance from when you enter the building on where to go. I would stay again but not in a rush.

Clean but small. Not for light sleepers.
This is a great location but a very basic room. As the title suggests, this hotel is underground so there are no windows and the rooms are small. I would say it would be a struggle to have two people with two suitcases in the room. There are only two hooks for storage - no drawers, no wardrobe. If you are a light sleeper, be warn that you can hear the underground trains going past. For me, this room was everything I needed - a clean shower and a bed. I spent little time in my room and was looking for somewhere, near Oxford Street, to sleep.

Small and central
Small roomsm, no window, peaceful as sound proofed however you will occasionally hear the hum of the underground tube as your rooms are underground.

Thanks, but no thanks
Based on the photos on this site i was looking forward to my 2 night stay. The location is ideal. On arrival i entered the ground floor area, there was a deak with no one at it, with little to no clear instructions i waited. After about 5 mins a nice couple entered, clearly staying here and advised me that i needed to go to floor -4 for reception. When i arrived at reception, rather than being spoken to and my details taken, i was ushered to a crap tacky digital display to carry out a self check in, why do some hotels think that this is acceptable, the point of booking a hotel is to engage with people, not a screen. Having completed the check in i went down another floor to -5 and found the room. While reasonably sized, it lacked any kind of storage or hanging space, more than one night here would be a challenge, one which i attempted and failed. All of my clothes strewn across the floor, living out of a suitcae is not suitable for any business trip. I will not be booking this one again.

Good for a nights crash
Great stay, fit for my purpose which was a single night stay. Slight odour to the room, not foul but definitely odd. Good lighting setup considering no windows. You can feel the tube line when trains pass but no other sound. Comfortable stay!

Great alternative option when in london
Perfectly OK for a quick overnight stay when you’re late in and up early. Saves on wasting money on a london hotel when all you need is a decent sleep.

Good
I booked two rooms, they were both fine however one had a really bad smell in it but I asked the staff for some air freshener and they sent someone to my room to sort it out and it was ok for a while but the smell kept coming back. Overall would stay here again, I like both of the zedwell hotels that I’ve stayed at.

Really good location and price.
It was in a perfect location to explore London. Small room but perfect for a one night layover. The staff worker from Ecuador who assisted us was really nice. Muchas gracias

The hotel is in an excellent location, it was clean and had free WiFi as well. I had never experienced this level of basic before. No windows , Not a picture on the wall. No t.v. No nightstand and a mattress 12 inches from the floor. 2 outlets to plug things in, 2 hooks on the wall and a mirror Bathroom had hand soap, body wash, shampoo sink, toilet, shower, a bin and 2 hooks on the wall. The room shook every time the train went by so every 3/5 minutes. This went on til around midnight every night. I was there for work so didn’t need a TV but could have used it to drown out the noise from the train.

Do not stay here. They will nickel and dime you.
The Zedwell is an adequate and even comfortable hotel to sleep in -- but do not be deceived by their seemingly low prices. Arrive early? Pay £15 pounds to store each of your bags or pay £60 to check into your room two hours early (even if it is available). Ditto on check-out. Need to use an iron? That will cost you another £10. I'm pretty sure they would charge if you needed extra toilet paper. Advice: pay just a bit more and stay at any other hotel where they will store your bags on arrival and departure for free -- oh, and they will provide you an iron to use at no additional charge. When I asked the staff about all of these charges that add up, they said "it's London, sorry." No, it is not London. It is the Zedwell. Do not reward them for this type of scheme. Stay elsewhere.

Good clean hotel. Could have given an extra towel as I only had one for shower and one for a bath mat. Had no towel to dry hands. No desk or anything to leave my suitcase on. Need a little table for suitcase or clothes like in Piccadilly Circus

Please don’t torture yourself
Every little thing came as an extra. Early check in £40, store luggage early £15per bag, hair dryer £10 etc. The shower head is a rainfall shower so you can’t shower without getting your hair wet so you’re pretty much left with no choice but to rent out the hair dryer. The room was suffocating and had really bad aircon. Please save yourself the pain and go somewhere else. The room was not noise proof what so ever. As a female I’ve never felt so unsafe

Budget hotel with stealth charges -disappointing
Budget quality hotel in central location but would not return. Room is the smallest I’ve ever stayed in and feels like a prison cell. You know when you book it there are no windows but this hotel is like some dystopian nightmare. Cannot believe the hotel check out time is 10am!!! This is unheard of in London hotels and they are ready and knocking on your door ready to collect their £50 late check out fee as soon as you breach the cut off time. It was clean but I think I would rather stay anywhere else than here in the future. Would not return.
