Their breakfast ended 45 min early, which disappointed me. The front desk staff was friendly and overall a good value for the money.

The hotel is remodeling but is clean. The bed was soft and the room was big. Employees were friendly and helpful

Desk attendants were very nice and the rooms were fine, understanding that the hotel is going through renovations/construction and conversion to be a Hilton. Breakfasts are pretty minimal as far as selection, but better than nothing. The hotel housed several people that were displaced by a fire and lost their home. That impressed me greatly that someone involved had a heart.

2/10 Poor

When I returned early afternoon to the hotel from visiting family member who just lost her husband. The hallway was dark and the ceiling lights were hanging down out of the ceiling and ceiling tiles were all over the floor. Not only was it a hazard to walk but having electrical hanging from the ceiling was unacceptable. I was never notified that it would be happening. The website never mentioned renovations. I shouldn’t have been put on a floor that would be renovated. I should have been given the option. I would like a refund. I couldn’t even find another hotel with availability to change. Going home wasn’t an option as I needed to be there to help my sister when she needed me during her loss.

Smallest rooms. Not enough parking for the guests.
Smallest room I have ever stayed. It’s so small comparing the price. They said they had free parking. Truth is parking lot inside and back of the building has very few spot. So I had to do street parking near the hotel. It was raining cats and dogs and I was soaked. Inexcusable considering it’s Long Island. Will never go back.

8/10 Very Good

The property is being renovated so some slack must be given. Outside is a mess, but the rooms are immaculate. Since it's a non-smoking facility, ashtrays or receptacles should be put at each entrance as there are many butts on the ground just outside the doors. The staff is very friendly, and the cleaning crews are as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

2/10 Poor

The city is nice. The property is very ill maintained. We had to wait at the check in for more than 15 minutes despite having two staff helping one customer with a complaint about billing. When I asked one of the stuff to help us, she said the other computer In the reception is not working and we have to wait for this computer station. The breakfast was really terrible. There is no varieties. It was only cooked egg and pork sausage. The breakfast area is very busy, unclean, and it’s quite understaffed. That receptionist was working in the dining area as well. When I asked her about food, she said they are preparing it in the kitchen. Then she came and said it’s ready. It was only sausage and eggs. When I asked her for cheese, she said we don’t have. She gave me a terrible look. An hour later we decided to check out, she never looked at us or said goodbye or come back.

When we checked in the room wasn't clean at all. It was like some one was in the room and just left. We had to reach out to the staff to get the room cleaned and they made us wait for like 25-30 mins. Such a terrible experience

Average stay. The hotel is showing its age. Wi-fi is weak the farther away from the lobby. Everything in the room worked but showed its age and wear and tear.

Booked two rooms. The only Pros are the availability for last-minute bookings, good staff for the pricing. The Cons are the location specially if you don’t have a car, property bad conditions (smell musty, no shower curtain, old elevator) and also the cleanliness of the A/C and bathrooms need improvements.

Tired needing a facelift!
When we pulled in and I saw a temporary sign hung I figured we were in trouble. When I went into the room I went to the window and the entire window was covered with bushes, what the heck? The bed skirt had about a 12 inch tear in it dragging the floor. The entire hotel looked tired like it needed a face lift.

As soon as you walk in the hotel it smells of mildew and smoke. The ceilings are falling apart on the outside and in the room i stayed in. The pool was merky as well. The breakfast was underwhelming with only eggs, hashbrowns, cereal, etc.

The property is due for renovation. First thing you notice is the smell of mold somewhere-/ though it seems there is an attempt to mask the smell. Exterior — grass is mowed neatly, but weeds everywhere along border. The room had no amenities— no soap in bathroom, no shampo, etc, There was a hair dryer bag, but no hair dryer. Only thing in bathroom were two washcloths and two small handtowels. No bath towels. When we called, they said housekeeping would not be in till 10 am, but we could pick up towels at the desk. Morning breakfast had scrambled eggs, burnt around edges, no meat, and partially cooked potato patties. Orange juice watered down and weak coffee that tasted like chicory— not coffee. No sweets and some bread for toast. You did have a choice between 3 cereals though. The best thing about the place was very nice staff at front desk. The greatest irony of the second rate experience was a required $50 deposit at check in in case there was room damage. There was nothing there to take or destroy. Lighting in room was an overhead light as you walked in and a lamp between beds. Two electric outlets for recharging electronic devices on opposite walls of the room … nothing more. There WAS a small refrigerator in the room that pulled out of the wall every time you opened the door, a single cup coffee maker with no coffee and 2 paper cups. Ice was available in the laundry room that smelled pungent and irritated the sinuses. However nothin was available to carry
