Lovely hotel in the perfect location for the full experience of Bourton on the Water. Staff were friendly and informative from the moment of check in and room was furnished really nice and was very spacious. Only comment would be that the room got quite warm at night, however, this would be expected with a property of this age.

Perfect Easter Weekend

We had a lovely stay at the old new inn. The room is perfect for two, was very clean and small little touches like a fridge, fresh milk and toiletries was very appreciated. The location was in the heart of town. We didn’t go to the pub downstairs but that also looked very cozy. The staff were very attentive and the breakfast which was included in the price was exquisite!

A lovely pub stay in a popular pretty village. Friendly, polite staff, a nice bar area, excellent breakfast, great location for Bourton sites. Slight noise from the road, but the village was quiet in the morning and evening, so not a major problem.

Lovely Hotel and staff

Lovely hotel, wonderful staff, fabulous food. Enjoyed our one night stay so much we stopped another night. Be aware though rooms 5 to 8 are on the second floor and its narrow stairs all the way.The model village is well worth a look behind the hotel which is free for residents.

This is a classic hundreds of year old Cotswold building. It has been kept up nicely and the staff was great and accommodating, particularly Julie and Christina. Bourton on the Water was the perfect home base for our week stay in the Cotswold and we would highly recommend the Old New Inn. Also, food and Model Village (which they run) were great as well.

Our room was the only one on the first floor directly next to the front door which meant we could hear every time the very heavy door opened and closed and hear everyone chatting in the hall. Hotel is right on a fairly busy street and you can hear all the cars, trucks and busses rumbling past. Shower is oddly open to the rest of the room and results in a lot of water on the floor where you don’t want it. Hotel would best be described as adequate.

Fabulous stay

Beautifully decorated rooms with a very comfortable bed and a good spacious powered shower. Small fridge in the room containing fresh milk( such a welcome relief from the usual UHT milk) and great for storing cold water. When we arrived the Dyson fan was in full flow to cool the room. Breakfast was delicious, as was our evening meal in the bar. Location perfect for discovering Bourton. We parked in the car park next to the inn and were able to validate our 2 day stay by inputting our registration number. The charge for parking was reduced to £7.50 for 2 days, and we had a free ticket to the model village. All in all a perfect 2 day break in the beautiful Cotswolds. Alas, Bourton was heaving with visitors but this did not mar our enjoyment.
