I made a reservation on Expedia and had it on my phone, but when I arrived they said they had no reservation on record and that they had no relationship with Expedia. The man at the desk was very sweet and I don't think it was his fault, it's the management's fault. He said he could let me stay there, they had a room available, but the rate he quoted was almost double the rate I had reserved. I had to argue to get them to give me the room at the rate on my reservation. They also made me pay in cash, saying they don't take credit cards even though there were two signs on the desk saying the accept visa. When I finally got in the room, there was no hot water at all in the shower, an nights in arequipa are freezing cold in July. It was not possible to take a shower, the water was far too cold. Avoid at all costs.
