"Went to Elite Grand Hotel in Gävle and stayed there for a few days and would love to go back. The staff were all be dry attentive and accommodating. The breakfast buffet every morning is to die for and I definitely recommend checking out the wellness spa. It is the perfect hotel to go to when you want to relax and enjoy the area. "

"The hotel is slightly run down, but in a comfortable way. Like you're in somebody's living room... The mostly female staff is attentive, friendly and helpful; which definitely adds to the homely feeling. The restaurant is very good, but a bit pricey, but the food is of great quality. Breakfast was a bit disappointing; the warm dishes were cold and the assortment of cold cuts was poor. "

"Friendly and helpful employees wonderful breakfast buffet with lots of choices,nice location, bookable sauna (in good shape). The ventillation in the room needs improvement (we had to open the windows during the night to get some air). A small fridge in the room would have been nice too. Overall a nice place for a reasonable cost"

"Well, just booked a standard room at sportbacken. 500m walk from the main building, okej. Pretty expensive compared to other hotels with higher standards for the ”same category” of room, nothing speciell. Expected more for the money Breakfast was superb, very nice. Flatbread pizza in the Bistro was pretty booring. Had a long black straw of hair in the shower and found half of an old grape by the tv control :( "

"Wonderful staff and very friendly, top tier costumer service. The food was good and they had options for special diets so if you’re vegan there’s an option for you. Only downside is that our bathroom was not well cleaned but nothing that bothered us that much. Would recommend this hotel."
