In my home City, Batac in Ilocos Norte, Philippines we celebrate Farmers Festival to honor our hardworking farmers for putting delicious and nutritious food in our table ... the festival is being held every 2nd week of May, in the photo this carabao who is oftenly called farmers bestfriend is decorated and painted displayed during the Grand Parade. Visitors from neighboring towns, cities and tourists come yearly to witness this event.
