"I cannot rave enough about this storybook gem in the Rize/Black Sea area. The hosts, Mustafa & Özlem, are a delightful young couple who are extremely attentive, helpful & generous. After a few days, I felt like family! Rent a car at the airport & in less than 30 minutes you’ll be transported to a lush, green, mountainous village where the Lettasi Bungalows are perfectly situated along a babbling stream amidst a working tea farm. Each beautifully constructed A-frame bungalow is spacious & airy with a large living space, convenient kitchen, very nice bathroom with walk-in shower, & sizable sleeping loft with a VERY comfortable cozy bed. My favorite part is the rear yard (private for each bungalow) which looks out on a vast tea garden punctuated with kiwi & hazelnut trees. All this & a most delicious breakfast which includes an assortment of homemade jams (courtesy of Özlem’s excellent culinary skills)….. I could move right in! Lettasi Bungalows are conveniently located to loads of river rafting & zipline outfits, Black Sea beaches & less than 1/2 hour drive to the famed Rize Tea Center, Cay Carsisi. I hope to return one day."
